Best soups in the World?

Except for that I do not care of seafood soups I agree with previous posts. Cheddar Cheese Soup, Potato and Leek, I also had a great mushroom bisque at 1900 park fare (along with the strawberry soup) which definately served as a dessert to me. Boma was amazing although carrot coconut soup was also a bit sweet for my taste.

HANDS DOWN . . . the best soup is the Butternut Squash at Boma. OMG! It is sooooo amazing!

My favorite is the smoky portobello at Artist Point.

My favorite was the butternut squash soup that I had at Mara's. I was only at AKL for less than 24 hours, but I had 3 bowls there, it was so good. In addition, I had a bowl at Bomas to compare (the Chef gave me a bowl on a tour), but Maras was surprisingly a little better. In addition to some soups that have been mentioned, I like the clam chowder from Martha's Vineyard lounge at the Beach Club (I suspect it's the same as at the Clam Bake next door).

Most of all of the soups at Boma. And the tomato soup at Earl of Sandwich at DTD its really good.

My favorite soups have been the butternut squash soups at Boma and Citricos, the cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier, the crab soup at Boma, and the lobster bisque at Chefs de France.

I love the BLT soup at the Sci-Fi (MGM Studios). It is soooo delicious! I order it every time we eat at the Sci-Fi.

I love the:
Potato Leek soup at Biergarten
Butternut Squash Soup at Wolfgang Puck's (they also give you the recipe for this on your table card when you're seated)
Lobster Bisque at Chefs de France (excellent)

Another good soft food choice would be the pumpkin ravioli at Wolfgang Puck's. My DW absolutely loves it. A good soft food dessert is the rice cream (like a pudding with strawberry jam on top) at Kringla Bakery in Norway.

Several restaurants serve Chicken Noodle Soup on the kids' menus, but my kids felt it was too salty.

Just about all the soups at Boma are worth the price of admission. Like Bill posted earlier, I have passed up prime rib AND dessert to have more of the Curry/Coconut seafood soup. Wonderful. The Smoky Portobello at Artist Point was also outstanding.

Thanks for the soft food choices. I've been checking out the smoothie boards too. I figure while in Disney, living on ice cream would be ok!:yay:
