Hi All,

We are leaving next week for our trip! I wanted to know where everyone has found the best soups, anywhere on disney propery. We will be at POR, so DTD will be just a boat ride away, so that's a possibilty as well. I have a condition that makes it tough to swallow, so I'm hoping I can manage for a week finding decent soft foods.

So, where is everyone's favorite soups?

Thanks guys.

The onion soup at either Bistro de Paris (upstairs) or Chefs de France (downstairs) at the French pavilion.

The cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier

The Lobster Bisque at Coral Reef

The (cold) Strawberry Soup at 1900 Park Fare.

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking Epcot's different offerings are going to be my best bet. I love cheddar soup!

My favorite soup in WDW is the Potato Leek soup from the Rose and Crown Dining Room in Epcot, I always get it, it is fabulous!

The cheese soup at LeCellier is my favorite but a very close second is a Curry Seafood Soup over at Boma. I have no idea what it's called but it was fantastic! All of the soups at Boma are great, I've passed on seconds of Prime Rib so I could go eat more soup.

This is my favorite soup too! I could have had this as my main meal, it is so rich. I think you'll really like it.

I absolutely loved the strawberry soup over at 1900 Park Fare. It was so good, actually could even have for dessert. I found recipe on internet and going to try and make it.

And I'll agree with others about the soups at BOMA.. The night I was there they had wonderful apple and chicken soup, some type of bean soup and then because I had heard so much about the Butternut Squash soup I asked my server for it and he went and got some from the chef. so worth asking about it. I was so rich and creamy..

Seafood Gumbo at Boma
Many other soups at Boma are wonderful too

Thanks guys. You are giving me some great ideas. Soup in Florida at the end of June would have sounded crazy to me on my last trip, but you have to listen to the body, I guess. I am definitely going to try some of that cheese soup!:thumbsup2

If you love soup like my family then Boma is a must. They offer 5 different soups everynight some of my favs are Butternut Squash (I made myself sick eating sooo much of this ~ it was like drinking pumpkin pie :cloud9: ) Chicken Apple, Chicken pepperpot, Seafood bisque and my 6 yr olds fav Carrot Ginger. They always have an excellent variety each night. So I gorge on lucious soup and the awesome dessert buffet and I'm a happy camper. MMMM soup.....And the added bonus is the location AKL is so cool and unique. We always listen to the African Fairy tales at the campfire and use the night vision googles to animal watch and listen to the safari guides. The kid (all under 6 yrs old) love it.

Wolfgang Puck Express has the best butternut squash soup! It is very rich and creamy.

Sunshine Seasons in the land has awesome soup selections...they change often.

France has delish french onion soup, Le Cellier cheese soup is outstanding, Crystal Palace always has great soups, China CS has a new beef noodle bowl that was very good, Cape May has a very creamy tomato bisque and thick NE clam chowder.

Beirgarten has a killer potato leek soup

I hear Boma has awesome soups too!

We were at Tony's Town Square on Tuesday May 29th and my mom got the soup of the day which was butternut squash. This was the best soup I have ever tasted. It was outstanding - thick, sweet (but not overly so) with a slight spiced after taste (maybe nutmeg?).

BIG soup lover here
definately try Boma - Kona chowder is my favorite for a seafood soup - mushroom soup at Artist point - the BLT soup at Sci Fi was interesting and of course the cheddar cheese soup at Le Cellier - YUM!

It certainly seems that Disney loves (and knows how to make it) Butternut Squash soup.:goodvibes I am interested in the BLT soup. Is it thick and creamy or a brothy soup?
