Where do you get the funnel cakes from and do they all sell soft serve ice cream too? This is our favorite treat at WDW :goodvibes

We got this funnel cake at Stage Door Cafe. No, they don't serve soft serve there. I'm not sure they have in anywhere in the parks?:confused3

soft serve....I don't think so, I think the closest is the Dole Whip which would NOT work with a funnel cake. LOL

Humm., I've never tried Costco churros.

I live in Northern Cali.., and it snows here.., and it doesn't feel very "Southwest" here. :flower3:

It depends on what you call a "snack." I can't take eating the high sugar treats all day.., it makes me feel cranky and tired.., and we CANT have that at disneyland.

That being said, I do love the Dole fresh pineapple and whips.., The Bengal BBQ has excellent cabobs, veggie or meat.., and the Critter place, and a few other places, they have a PB&J sandwich from the child's menu, it comes with grapes or fries (some places apple slices too) and a milk or other kids drink.., it's a great light meal or snack.., sometimes a PB&J just hits the spot.

lynzer torte where in OR are you? The churros at my costcos (I visit 3 regularly) are hit and miss. Sometimes they are yummy and I go back for another and other times I day dream about being at DLR eating a churro. :)

I always love getting popcorn.

I have to try the Tinkerbell twist when I got, sounds yummy

What's a Tigger Tail?

Welcome to the Dis! :) You must be in the Sierras or more North than we are. It rarely snows here, but it sure does freeze. :) My car was frozen this morning...yet again. LOL

Maybe we are regionally challenged as far as the churros.:rotfl2:

LOL :rotfl: Maybe, it sure does sound that way! At least it's not just me, I was thinking I was just being super picky for a bit there. LOL

What's a Tigger Tail?

Ohhhh a Tigger Tail....a mess of gooey yummyness. LOL It's 3 marshmallows on a stick, dipped in caramel, then coated in orange chocolate and drizzled with milk chocolate. OMG, YUM! :) DD9 and I like to share one....every day......more than once a day would be perfect but we are good and limit it to once a day and on our long trips we limit it to every other day. LOL And the orange chocolate part really deterred me, I'm not a fan of orange chocolate but man, I'm soooooo glad I went for it because they are sooooooooooooooooooooooo good! :)

Hasn't the frost been terrible? No, they are that bad. They are so dry. I think this next trip I need to try the Tigger Tails.

I'm in Beaverton. We visit the Aloha and Hillsboro (the worlds largest!) Costco fairly often. We only get churros once in a while though.

I  their pizza too!

I save all my "snack-getting" for Disneyland. I never buy that stuff anywhere else. At least at Disneyland I walk it all off and I allow myself to eat whatever I want. Back home, it is reality time. :rotfl:

I just moved from aloha back to the east side of portland! Yes you are right... the aloha store has GREAT churros!! We also went to tigard and hillsboro when we wanted to mix it up although I dont like tigard costco because it is backwards :rotfl: It weirds me out. But I agree that aloha always has very soft yummy churros!! :thumbsup2

I love pretty much anything at Marceline's Confectionary in Downtown Disney. :goodvibes Every trip I also have to get a chocolate croissant at the Blue Ribbon Bakery. :)

Well hello neighbor!

I know what you mean about the Tigard Costco- it's just bizarre!:upsidedow

Yes, try them, you will love them! :)

Hi everyone, I'm new to the boards, hope you don't mind me jumping in... I've been loving this thread on snacks at Disneyland! So helpful. Sometimes you just don't want that much, AND don't want to spend $20 a person... Can't wait to try the Tigger Tails after all the love being said about them here. :lovestruc Now, I know this is going the super healthy, super boring route, but we found the granola bags and fruit really refreshing sometimes after od'ing' on a lot of "junk" (by "junk" I actually mean the good stuff :rotfl2: ). Over at the retail by Jungle Cruise. Hope they are still offering those.
Oh, and irony here... it's been humorous to listen to the locations of everyone on this thread, being that I grew up in Oregon (the Northwest) and now live in VV (No. California). Hello neighbors!

Hi neighbor! And welcome to Disboards. I wasn't aware of the granola in Adventureland. I need to look for it next time. I love that they have all of the fruit stands now because it gives you a choice now and the fruit is so nice on a hot day.

For us (DD9 and myself) we love the cinammon twists from Blue Ribbon Bakery at DL as well as Bakers Field Bakery in DCA. We got them once late in the day at the coffee cart between entrances to Adventureland and the pathway to Rancho del Zacalo but it was stale so now we get them at one of the bakeries. If BRB at DL is crowded we get it at BFB in DCA. Hardly ever a line there in the afternoon.

Dole Whip.

Ice Cream from BrrrBank Ice Cream.

As for churros, I won't pay the DLR price when I can get them for 50 cents at Sam's Club. ( I don't have Costco membership).

Beignets at Ralph Brennans.

and the best......caramel corn :grouphug: from either the popcorn cart by Soarin' on in the Sunshine Plaza. Best ever! In a pinch the Kettle Korn in DTD located conveniently by the trams will do. (The caramel corn cart isn't always open :confused3 )

I could swear we got granola there too... :scratchin 'Course, hubby was always packin' some sort of snack or other that he picked up from someplace and lugged in with him (including saltine crackers from DLH room service soup :rotfl2: ) so maybe we brought it in? Sheesh, hate to steer you wrong here. But, worth a look. I'm almost positive if it wasn't granola, it was nuts or something. But, most definitely the fruit was there. :thumbsup2 I'm looking forward to heading over to Bengal BBQ too, which you all have mentioned. We've never gotten anything there, and it sounds like there are some good snack options.
