We NEVER take full advantage of our snacks on the DDP. Normally I end up going to the gift shop on our last day and buying up snacks to take home. What are some items that qualify as snacks in the park that are great treats! Like at Epcot...and are Dole Floats considered a snack?

Leaving for the world in 60 days and trying to get the best snacks in the WORLD! Let me know your favorites...please....

To start, I love the ice cream on Main Street.

The Pineapple Dole Whip at the Aloha Isle in Adventureland is my personal favorite. I have to get one every time I go. Last trip, I got 2. :woohoo:

If you're going to be in WDW during the Food & Wine Festival I would use snack credits for the food items there. Last year I was able to get the $7 Lobster Roll as a snack!! I'm not sure if they've changed the policy this year, but last time my family pooled all of our snacks and used them all at F&W. It was more than worth it because the items range anywhere from $3 to $7 and I was able to use a credit for every one I bought.

The ice cream sandwiches at the Main Street Bakery.

2 freshly baked cookies (sometimes still warm -mmmmm) with ice cream in the middle.

And they're huge!

...i am starting to get very hungry...

I always suggest that people check out the "confirmed" snack credit sticky at the top of thi9s forum when looking for the best snack credits.

jjohnson works very hard to keep the list current with what are confirmed snacks by other board members. It's an unofficial list, but you'll find that it's very accurate.

The problem is that Disney is always evolving in what is considered a snack credit. So what is a snack credit today, or was a snack credit last month, may not be a snack credit tomorrow.

Unfortunately these are no longer a snack credit.

We were so NOT impressed with these last January. The cookies were rock hard. I mean, so hard, you couldn't bite through them. So hard, that after leaving the ice-cream to melt for 10 minutes, they still didn't go soggy. Perhaps we just got a bad batch of cookies.

DW was buying water and I had to tell her to use a snack credit. We had plenty to use so why pay OOP. We a few left over our last day and we bought a lot of goofy stuff. Pez dispensers and such. Yes, we did use our credits for pineapple dole whip floats and ice cream sandwiches.

A hot fudge sundae back at the resorts :hippie::cool1::hippie:

YES, at POP Food Court they are huge and delicious.:thumbsup2

Also, as a dessert up to an hour after you have dinner at POP. The cashier will stamp your receipt and allow you to come back and get a Sundae up to 1 hr. after paying for your meal. I brought mine back to our room and enjoyed it all by myself !!!!

Yep the ones at POP are the ones I'm thinking about, I hope at Riverside (in less then 24 days:))they are as large and good. Just sat outside with the ducks but didn't share mine either. A few people came up and said where did you get that, at POP it is all the way to the one side to the back side of the counter.

I do not think I have ever noticed them selling Ice Cream Sundaes in the hotel food court area . Why is this ?? I need to pay attention . Does anyone know if they have them at SSR? I have been there 3 times this year and didnt not eat one time at the resort LOL

My Granddaughter would love a sundae:lovestruc
