Best snack?

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I want to have it all in one place. What are the best snacks that we MUST get while in DL? I'll premise this by saying that we are frequent visitors of WDW, so we want to hit as MANY DL favorites as we can while there. And by snack I mean all the walk-up carts, counters, etc. Not a sit-down restaurant that we need a PS for (we already have those!)

I think that Tigger tails and churros are on the list. And even though I've had one, we'll do a Dole Whip for fun.

Please help me add to my list - what should I eat? :confused3

One difference in the Dole Whips at DL is you buy it at the attraction. Then you can bring it in and eat it while you watch the show. That's one of our favorite things to do!

In my personal opinion, the churros smell MUCH better than they taste (they don't taste bad, just wish I could dip them in something instead of plain!)

They ran out of Tigger Tails both days we were there, so if you see them, buy them! Their cupcakes are YUMMY but can definitely be shared (I made the mistake of boldly trying to eat one solo).

I really enjoyed my corn dog!

I appreciate all the tips. Good to know that I can eat my Dole Whip during the Tiki birds - what a fun surprise. :goodvibes And thanks for the heads up on the churros - I don't want to be disappointed by something. I think we'll get one of everything and then share. Then, if we must have more, we can order again! ;)

Keep them coming!

Churros! :cheer2:Turkey leg! :yay:Funnel cake w/ brownie topping! :cheer2:OMG! I wonder if they serve this in the summer? I eat it every year in the Holiday season.

Where is the funnel cake usually sold at? I thought someone once said it was at the Golden Horseshoe, but I can only find it on the Hungry Bear's menu.

ive not had many but this year i want to try the Funnel cake. It looks so good

Caramel Apple! We had our first one this last trip...man, I still dream about that apple. We bought ours at Pooh's Corner.

They are expensive ($8.00) for the one that looks like Minnie Mouse. We shared it 3 ways. If you ask, they will cut it into slices.

It is an apple coated with caramel and chocolate.

Very, very good!

Yummmmm.:thumbsup2

It's sold at the Stage Door Cafe next door to Golden Horshoe, or at least it has been every Holiday season when I've gone.

OMG, can you imagine if you could get chocolate to dip your churro in??? I think I would be in heaven!!!!! lol

FWIW we get 2 churros for the 4 of us, DD9 and I split one, DBF gives DD12 a bite or two of his if she wants it. She's not a big churro fan so she doesn't eat much. I can definitely eat one by myself but I prefer not to. :)

As for what to get, go to Pooh Corner, get Tigger Tails (DD9 and I share these as well) and a apple pie caramel apple....have them slice it for you so you can eat it easier and enjoy...OMG, YUM!!!! This is another one we share. :)

We love the Churros! This is a must have for us! I also love the Dole Whip!
I forgot about the funnel cake....yum!:)

They used to have a chocolate sauce for the churros about 3 years ago. It was an extra buck or so but well worth it! We love the churros and have to budget for atleast one a day!/We have them at several places here in San Antonio but none are as good as DL's!!!

This is a Tigger tail. It's marshmallows, dipped in what looked like caramel, and then chocolate I believe. I can't be sure as I've never had one. Not a fan of marshmallow.

Add me to the list of those who like the churros. The corn dogs are a must although they make a rather large snack. lol We like the fudge too. Oh and the giant chocolate dipped rice crispy treats from Pooh Corner.

The mickey shaped soft pretzels are ok but a little dry IMO.

We also love getting a pineapple spear.

I had some delicious caramel corn over in DCA trip before last. I couldn't find it this trip though.

My favorite is the coconut macaroon drizzled with chocolate at the Blue Ribbon Bakery.

Yes, a little cup of melted chocolate is exactly what I was craving, I was hoping they would sell it but they didn't. Like I said, they aren't bad, but I guess as a person who has had churros in Spain with that chocolate sauce, I'm spoiled! :)

Uh, what's a Tigger Tail?

A Tigger Tail is a bit of chocolate/marshmallow/caramel heaven. I LOVE Tigger Tails (not to be confused with Tiger Tails at the skewer place, those are breadsticks and for some reason I'm drawing a blank on the skewer place name LOL) and I don't like orange chocolate and I don't like marshmallows unless they are in hot cocoa or in Tigger Tails. LOL So it's 4 marshmallows on a stick, coated in caramel and then in orange chocolate and then drizzled with milk chocolate.....YUMMMMMMMM I never would have thought I'd like one but they are soooooo good. I tried one on the advice from this board and I'm glad I did!!!

Mmmm churros in Spain...I'm jealous! :) OMG, I bet that was heavenly!!!! :)

I have yet to try black pepper popcorn at the beer truck. I love kettle corn, popcorn, and caramel corn. I bring baggies and fill them up so I can bring it home or munch during the day.

Mickey Bars are great.

Bengal Barbecue, and for what it's worth, that was my favorite meal during our entire visit! We tried one of everything (chicken, veggies, bread, steak) and it was all YUMMY. I guess you could count it as a "snack" since it comes on a stick lol.
