We usually opt for a bagel or muffin at the resort but I wonder if there are other breakfast-like snack items elsewhere?

There's a sticky thread at the top of this forum which lists known snacks and their locations. Not sure where you'll be (parks, resorts, etc) but you should review that to get an understanding of what's available. We like oatmeal and yogurt parfaits at the resort QS, you can get a muffin, bagel with cc, and an occasional treat is a cream cheese filled pretzel. Enjoy!

Sleepy Hollow at MK has some waffles which I believe can be used as a snack. At Epcot in WS, there's the cronut which is a popular snack.

I'm pretty sure the Sleepy Hollow waffles are not on the dining plan at all.

Our favorite breakfast with a snack credit was a yogurt parfait at our resort (CSR). It had layers of yogurt, berries, and granola. It was very filling and actually healthy so we weren't hungry an hour later like we were on the day we got a muffin! I'm not sure if all resorts offer the yogurt parfaits...it was prepackaged, so maybe!

Beignets at POFQ. my sister and I shared one order (3) for breakfast everyday. There was so much food on the DDP we just wanted a light breakfast.

Although, I haven't had it, I've heard that the ham and cheese croissant from the bakery in France can be gotten with a snack credit.

Thanks those are great tips. Its nice to hear people tell their experiences rather than refer to the list. The list is helpful though too. Thanks!

The bakery in France has the aforementioned ham-and-cheese croissants, and also bacon rolls, which are snack credits good for breakfast (if you can stay away from all of the other stuff, that is...)

I like the smoothies at Auntie Gravity's in Tomorrowland at MK too - strawberry, tropical, orange-pineapple, or coffee flavored, made with nonfat yogurt too. A nice, portable snack-credit breakfast item.

We also enjoy hitting the "produce" spots in each park for breakfast-y snacks, too... grapes, pineapple, yogurt, apples-with-caramel, etc., kind of a build-your-own version of the yogurt parfaits mentioned by a prior poster.

The yogurt items are one of the only ones I'd recommend (I'ver never been to France i nthe morning).

We tried the "snack credit until early lunch" system last time, and it generally left us wiped and sleepy by 10 am from lack of protein. This time around we're bringing granola nut bar rather than trust to snacks or pay for a breakfast.

Those ham and cheese croissants frm France sound Delish! But we have full day of ADRs on our Epcot days. Anyone ever grab them and reheat for next morning breakfast?

I have not, but I wouldn't recommend microwaved croissant. Ew :worried:
Many of their sweet items can be boxed and eaten later, though! Or if they could do the soup, that should reheat well.

Pinocchio's has some sort of bread knot/stick and dip that's a snack credit. Or Casey's fries with that amazing day-glo cheese....mmmmmm.

Of course the cinnamon rolls, scones, crepes, school bread & other baked goods are always yummy for a quick breakfast snack.

We've also found some healthier alternatives: hummus & veggies, oatmeal (both at AK), yogurt, hard boiled eggs & small boxes of cereal.

Sounds like a great use of a snack credit. But considering that part of Epcot doesn't even open until after 11am is it really breakfast?

If you are someone who could start their day with sugar shock (I'm not), the Cinnamon Rolls at Gaston's are so good I think. And definitely large enough to share with a couple of people. I'm not totally sure of their hours, but they definitely look more appetizing to me than the cinnamon rolls that some of the other QS or food courts have.

Les Halles, the bakery in France opens at 9:00. It was a great way to start our day.
