We were at FW Dec 9-16 and had the best site in the place for how we use it. We were in 404, pretty much at the corner of the path to the marina and the drive the busses take. When we were the only ones on the bus, the driver stopped as soon as he edged into the drive so we would have a shorter walk. Since we were on a corner we had alot of room between us and the sidwalk. We had a inflatible Nativity scene that we put right on the edge of the walk, and blow-up footlong "bulbs" for tackylights on the awning.

We pretty much stay in the parks from open to close, so this was great. Our early night was when we went to MK because we didn't do the party. Trails pizza at the camper was my favorite meal of the trip. Calm. (Oh, heads up. We should have ordered half what we do at home. The pizza was huge and a thick crust to boot)

We took a carriage ride, and that was quite nice. For a family of 5, its one of the cheaper WDW activities.

For a "REAL" camping trip, it would have been awful. Very noisy and right by the traffic, but for a amusement park crash pad, it was great. A little far from the bath house, but my baby is 7, so that's not a big deal to us anymore.

I have to tell you a funny story. Some guy brought his 9 yo and a friend to tent camp for an evening (there had to be somewhere cheaper to do this:confused3 ) and evidently the friend was used to more private campgrounds. He crawed out of the tent after the dad was asleep to pee on a tree. Well, trying to be behind the tree to the road put him in front of the tree to us. There is no privacy at FW. LOL. It was still quite warm at night, so there I am on my popup bunk with the windows all open. I said, "I hope you don't pee on our extension chord" He jumped a mile. :rotfl: Fricaseed nine year old. hahaha. Anyway, early next morning he did it again. DH and I were both up and laughing our heads off. He was far enough away from our site, and young enough that it wasn't at all offensive. We just thought he was taking the Wilderness part of the name a little too litreally.:lmao:

Welcome home! Glad to know it was a good trip! You were heading out as we were coming in~sorry to miss you!

On our last visit our neighbors had family visit for a couple nights. They put up a tent. It was located directly across from our dining/couch slideout. Every morning I would be sipping coffee at the kitchen table when a young man would step out of his tent and relieve himself. This was no kid--but a full grown young man. I did the only thing possible. I enjoyed the view!:rotfl2:
