Planning our first trip in February and are on the DP. Have all my choices except for MK. Thought about Liberty Tavern, but hoping you all can give me all your ideas and help me pick. It will be me (40) DH (41) DS (10) and DS (6). Thank you! :thumbsup2

Are you looking for a character meal or a non-character meal?
Depending on when in Feb. you are going, Liberty Tree may be a character meal. The first couple weeks it will be having the characters while Crystal Palace is closed.
If you are going after the 15th, our family favorite is Crystal Palace. The characters are fun and there is a wide variety of things to choose from on the buffet for both picky and adventurous eaters.

We actually love the Plaza. It is a small place..no characters, where we can have a nice quiet relaxing meal.

Crystal Palace is our favorite.
we still havent done Liberty Tavern.. maybe someday.

We love Tonys! Been there 3 times for dinner and once for lunch and really enjoyed it alot!

The Plaza is great for sandwiches and burgers.

CP is fantastic for breakfast!

We ate at Tony's and The Plaza on our last visit in Sept. We LOVED both of them. We will for sure be dining there again. CP is good for breakfast and characters.

Another vote for The Plaza Restaurant! Great burgers and shakes!!!! Nice and quiet too!

We like the Plaza and Crystal Palace. Another idea, however, is to hop on the monorail and cruise over to a resort. Contemporary - Chef Mickeys, Grand Floridan - Either 1900 Park Faire or Grand Floridian Cafe, and Polynesian - Ohana or Kona. We like all of those TS restaurants better than the ones in MK and it only takes a few minutes to get there. Also, my nieces think the monorail is a ride (like at Disneyland) so it isn't even like leaving the park.

About the Plaza.....the food isn't all that much more expensive than most CS meals and MUCH more relaxing! Crystal Palace can be hit or miss. Sometimes you wait a long time to be seating after your reservation time and long waits for all the characters to come by. But, the food has always been pretty good and its just a beautiful place!

I like the MK restaurants for lunch rather than dinner. I don't think any of them are good enough for dinner, except Tony's.

In this dis'rs opinion, none of the sit down restaurants at which we've dined in MK are any good except for Cinderella's Castle. We had breakfast there. We've eaten at Tony's and Crystal Palace for dinner and liked neither. Tony's was very average and slow. Crystal Palace was dirty and poor food quality. I'd second a previous post and recommend going to one of the many good restaurants on the monorail loop like Ohana, The Wave, California Grill, Kona, etc...

Since it's your first time I love the Castle. Nothing like eating in the Castle.
If not Tony's very good Italian Food.
