Best sit down dinner before Christmas Party

We booked Liberty Tree Tavern. I am not sure how many of the restaurants are open during the party or close to 7:00 p.m.

Many people book as soon as the dates are announced. I would call and see what, if anything, is available for the night you are planning to attend.

I like either CP or LTT in the park. Good luck!

We couldn't get anything for before the December 7th party. All they had left was like 8:00 ressies.

The last two years I've done Chef Mickey's because then I can just hop on the monorail to get to the party.

LTT would be my first choice. If that is booked I would pick one of the monorail resort resturants.

I just booked CP for 6:15 before MVMCP. I had no problem whatsoever, but then again, I'll be there in November. Maybe it's not that busy then?

I have 1900 Park Faire before MVMCP, that way we can just hop monorail over to MK

Inside the MK: CP or LLT. Otherwise consider one of the restaurants within one of the MK monorail resorts. If this doesn't seem to fit your plans, then you might consider a heavy lunch and just purchase lighter fare throughout the earlier hours of the party.

We have the whispering canyon booked before our party! We did this last time with the Pirate and Princess party and it worked out perfectly. We had dinner adr's at 5:05pm and made it to the party arouund 6:30. It was just a short boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.

We are doing Crystal Palace before the xmas party.

We have done LTT three times now. However this was mostly due to the characters they had for the dinner hour. I have read here and other places they are doing away with character dining at LTT so we probably will not go there for that reason. I hope for the Xmas season, they bring it back...smjj

I know your talking about MVMCP but last year we booked CRT for 5:15pm before MNSSHP and it worked out perfect. We finished dining at around 6:30pm and we were already in the park! We walked to the pavillion near the Castle adjacent to the Rose garden just before Tomorrow Land and showed our tickets to get our required green bands. (They let CMs know that you are a guest at the party and allowed to be there past the MK 7:00pm closing.)
By the time this was done the party was starting. It worked out perfect. So perfectly in fact that we booked CRT again this year before MNSSHP.

Whatever you choose I am sure you will have a great time.

We did WCC last year before MVMCP. It worked out well. We did a late lunch then rested a bit before heading over. By that time, we were ready for a nice dessert of cookies, apples, cocoa and juice.
