Best shops for buying plus size clothes?

I know I can rely on all my DIS buddies so please can someone recommend some shops for buying plus size clothes in Orlando? We're planning on going to the Florida Mall but would we be better going somewhere else?

Hi ya,

If you go to the Florida Mall they have lots of places for plus size clothing! Lane Bryant (www.lanebryant.com) are a plus size shop and they are in the Mall. As for the department stores they all should have plus size departments too.

Sears has some nice nightgowns which I got but the clothes weren't so nice. Only bought a few tops. The quality isn't as good as other shops but its not bad.

JC Penney has wonderful plus size clothes (www.jcpenney.com).

Those are the 3 main shops I used. Hope someone else has some suggestions! Have a great time shopping

I've seen a Big and Tall on I drive between Wet and Wild and Belz but since I perpetually look underfed I've never been in.

Dress Barn is good, don't think there is one at Florida Mall, but there is at Premium Outlets and LBV Outlets. Remember in Department stores to look for the "Woman" section which tends to stock larger sizes (Misses carries the smaller sizes)

I found that most department stores in Orlando stocked clothes up to size 24 (UK 28). They had huge amounts of clothes in larger sizes and it was nice to be able to shop normally and get bargains. Mind you my fav shop was the one at the Premium Outlet Mall as I got three evening dresses for £120 and they are all really good quality and look lovely.

I really like Torrid they have a great range of clothes, though I am hoping to have lost three stone before we go so maybe buy smaller sizes lol, gotta keep thinking of my wedding dress

Thank you. I've looked at the websites for J C Penny, Lane Byrant and Torrid and really like their selection of clothes. Can't wait to hit the shops in August. I notice some of the shops even ship to the UK. I've decided DD and I will go off and shop and DH can do his own thing as he hates too much shopping!
