Best Shopping?

Where is the best place for clothes shopping? we only want to spend 1 day shopping so want to go to the best place. we will have no car and are staying onsite WDW.

Also is there a Toys R Us anywhere?

I'd probably opt for the Florida Mall. DD and I stayed onsite in May 2005 and took a cab there plus cabs are waiting outside when you want to go back. It seems there's a Toys R Us onsite. There are also several department stores and loads of clothes shops so we'll definitely be going there in October to stock up!

Florida Mall would give you the best overall choice of shops. Especially taking into account the large department stores there.

Taxi fare from WDW to the mall would be around $35 plus tip each way, or you could look at booking a Towncar service. May be slightly more, but it would give you the peace of mind knowing you have a secure ride back.

There also may be a Lynx bus route (or routes) that you could use at a much cheaper cost.

Premium Outlets Mall would be about the closest to WDW. But there aren't as many shops as the Florida Mall. Taxi there would be around $20 plus tip each way.

Thank you, just did a search on the Flordia Mall and is the sort of thing we are looking for, will probably get a taxi or town car.

Any Info on a Toys Ur Us as I can't find anything?

There are toy shops in the Florida Mall and some of the department stores sell toys (Sears for one)

I agree that the Florida Mall offers the best all-round selection for clothes shopping.
The toy stores though are not great, there is a Playmobil shop there and used to be a Toys R Us, close to the actual mall itself and just off Orange Blossom Trail I think, not sure if it is still there.
