Best seafood restaurant outside WDW

Hi,

Planned to go offsite on Marathon weekend. DH wants to have seafood (crab legs, osyters etc), if it is close to WDW that would be good. We plan to visit Belz Outlet...any good restaurants close to there?

There is a Dixie Crossroads near the outlets that is IMHO quite good and reasonable.

I'm not sure where Belz outlet is...but on our last trip down our local friends took us to a place called Moonfish on Sand Lake Road (same road you take to get to Universal)...it's about 10 minutes back up I-4 towards Orlando Airport from WDW. They had seafood, sushi bar, drinks, american food (highend steaks). Kind of on the expensive side but VERY good, we wanted to go to an upscale local seafood place when we're in the area since Florida has such great seafood! I had the surf and turf and it was awesome...we had crabcakes for appetizers and they were phenomenal!! Total tab was about $400 for 4 people with appetizers, drinks, desserts, etc though, but boy was it great!!

Fulton's Crab House in Downtown Disney is awesome. It is VERY expensive, but well worth it, especially if you can get a window seat by the water. You can make a reservation through Disney Dining.

Two of the best spots in town for casual seafood are too far away from where you want to be Straubs and Boston's.
At Belz on I-Drive you will be just north of Restaurant Row on W Sand Lake Road. Going to sound like a broken record but you are not far from good choices imho like Moonfish ,Bonefish, Roy's,Seasons 52

Another great spot closer to Disney is Hemmingways at The Hyatt Grand Cyprus Resort on 535. $$$$

Blue Zoo also got rated this year as one of the best Seafood Spots in town at the Dolphin. $$$$
