Best seafood restaurant at WDW for non-seafood eaters?

So, here's the deal:

I really like all types of seafood, and I frequently suggest seafood restaurant choices whenever we go anywhere.

The problem, however, is that DW, DD15, DSIL, and DBIL all HATE seafood. I almost never get to go to any restaurant that focuses on seafood. 😩

We are heading to WDW in spring 2020, and the rest of the fam compromised and are willing to let me FINALLY pick a seafood restaurant for one night of the trip. As long as the place has "other" food that's decent.

So, here's the question:

What seafood restaurant, in anyone's opinion, would have the best non-seafood choices? Both quality-wise and variety of choices-wise?

I have considered Narcoossee's, Flying Fish, Bluezoo, etc. We haven't been to any of those places (again, because no one usually lets me pick a restaurant😡), so I am open to any of those or any other good seafood restaurant. I would also be open to a non-seafood restaurant that has a spectacular single seafood dish, I guess.

I have heard that Flying Fish has a tomahawk steak that is very good, but is also very expensive. I'm not sure that would be a good alternative due to cost, but if anyone thinks that it's worth it, then I would consider that.

Thanks!

Flying Fish and Bluezoo are both outstanding. I like seafood but have also had steak at each and enjoyed it very much. I think I might give Flying Fish the edge for non-seafood choices.

In a park your fam might like Coral Reef. The huge tank is beautiful. The food has been hit or miss for us but it does have both seafood and beef dishes.

It's not a seafood restaurant, but Raglan Road has a lot of seafood options and non-seafood options.

Raglan Road menu
Thanks very much for the suggestion. I hadn't considered or really even known about that place.

It looks like they do have a few seafood options. Mostly salmon and looks like a shrimp and a scallop dish. I might suggest this to the family for a different day of the trip, but I am looking more for a lobster or king crab type dish.

Thanks again. Will definitely put it on the list.

Thanks a lot for the advice. It's good to know that the steak is good. FF is probably the front-runner on the list for me right now.

Thanks - we might consider that for a lunch or something, but I've heard too many negative reviews to consider it for my "one" restaurant pick 😊

The Ale & Compass restaurant at the Yacht Club is another option. They have plenty of seafood dishes, including a 1/2 lobster add-on, plus a broader menu with a burger, ribs, chicken, steak etc.

just for the record
R Road was a HUGE disappointment for us recently .......

arrived 10 minutes early for reservation waited 40 minutes for a table while folks arriving after us were seated b4?@?@? ("their reservation was earlier" .. but they arrived LATE)

Seated where we could see ZIP of the show

food? nothing special

We like Narcos' (alto last time I had the surf and turf and the lobster is nothing special .... small for the price IMO)

on the other hand a ressie at Narc' where your dinner ends at MK fireworks time is a FANTASTIC way to enjoy dessert and coffee (Irish?)

if coming to Florida in search of 'King Crab' or any form of big crab legs

you should know that you'll be eating the very same thing you can buy in a box at COSTCO ...... and prepare at home (boil steam roast .... all you need to do is HEAT the defrosted legs or just eat it cold ..... it is fully cooked)

'Crab' of any form does not keep long once dead. Ever watch that TV show about crab fishing in Alaska ... they are always concerned about keeping the crab alive in the tanks. The processors won't buy dead crab. Once a (live) crab is in the hands of the processor they clean/cook/freeze within hours. The only time you'll get 'fresh king crab' is if the place has 'em live!!! BIG crab comes from northern COLD water ...... Like here in Bergen Norway

and you don't want to guess how much this cost per kilo in Norway even tho it is caught there (and considered an invasive species)

Sorry .. but I always chuckle anytime I hear some one ask 'where is the best place to get 'crab legs' in Florida ............ COSTCO!!!!

We love Coral Reef for lunch or dinner we have always had good food and service.

What about The Boathouse at Disney Springs? I've heard great things, its menu seems very varied and the seafood looks amazing.

I feel your pain! I'm a pescatarian (vegetarian plus seafood). I used to at least get to pick a good seafood restaurant once a year on my birthday. Then 3 years ago my teenager was diagnosed with a shellfish allergy, so we no longer cook shellfish at home or go to seafood-focused restaurants. DH and I have an adults only trip to Disney World planned, and I was so excited to try one of the seafood places. We were considering The Boathouse or Narcooses, I think. In the end we decided that our very short trip didn't really allow for a night away from the parks, so I'll just have to get the best seafood I can at the non-seafood restaurants in the parks. I hope your seafood dreams work out better than mine did!

We love BlueZoo, but I'm not sure it really for non-seafood eaters.

My thought: The Boathouse has many options for both seafood & non-seafood eaters.

Haven't had the tomahawk steak for two at FF yet but their other red meat dishes have never failed us. Same for the pork belly appetizer. Great eats and desserts at this establishment.

Another possibility is Boathouse. Really fresh raw bar, a nice Porterhouse steak and steak and fries dish. Stay away rom the BBQ chicken as it's nothing special. The cooked fish entrees and yummy too.

I knew someone was going to make a jab about "fresh" seafood in Orlando. Sorry. We're from Washington state and I've had plenty of salmon...

Thanks very much for all the help!

I will look at the Boathouse - to be honest, I'm not even sure where that is. Will have to Google it.

Full disclosure, I've not been there myself, but what about Tiffins at AK? As of now, there are at 2 entree fish dishes on the menu:

Alaskan halibut
Whole fried sustainable fish

as well as surf & turf and an octopus appetizer - but no crab.

There are some great sounding non-fish dishes. I've heard / read very good things about this signature restaurant.

Another votes for the Boathouse. They have a large menu with all different kinds of options. It’s one of our favorites.
