The gambas al ajilo are butt kicking and a perfect tapa for newbies.Jaleo has lots of different seafood, not just fish.
Morimoto Asia has exceptional sushi, other fish options are great.I've done a search and didn't find anything and that's assuming I did it correctly. What are some of the top places for good seafood on property? Will be using the DDP and willing to use 2 credits for a great meal. I've got The Boathouse on the list but is there anything else?
Thanks!
It's interesting that you mention grouper. Is there anywhere at WDW to get good grouper? I remember the first time I had it (at Hilton Head), I couldn't believe how such an ugly fish produced such a great taste. Since then, I haven't found it anywhere except Hilton Head-not even at Cape Cod. Any chance of finding it at WDW?I would think certain fish like the grouper would be freshest and most worth purchasing rather than say a salmon or cod or the like. FWIW I've eaten some of the best scallop dishes in Cape Cod but the Narcoossee's version is darn close.

Sea Shack has the best grouper. And I also loved Kenny Bs for grouper, just off Island. Poseidon had good grouper-we had it there 2 years ago, but last year they didn't have it. Hudson's also had it.heading to HH in 2 weeks,,where do you recommend?
For us, Northerners, it’s important how we season our fresh seafood too but most of us like cool and warm spicesI think it’s all in what you like/use to. Being from South Louisiana, seafood from Northeast is bland and tasteless in my opinion. Not only seafood being fresh is important but for us it’s how you season and prepare it. Just swing by New Orleans or Lafayette, La for the best of both freshness and taste lol!
not sure - I never have made reservationsDoes the Celebration Town Tavern take reservations?
Interesting perspective. My wife is from Lafayette before we got married ~27 years ago. She moved to Plymouth MA when that happened. She loves the seafood in both places. And so do I!I think it’s all in what you like/use to. Being from South Louisiana, seafood from Northeast is bland and tasteless in my opinion. I miss the Tavern! I lived in Celebration for a few years before I moved back here (Wild Elm Street).I'm originally from Plymouth MA, but now living near the parks for ~11 years. You're right about it being hard to find decent seafood here. The best we've had is Celebration Town Tavern.
I do like some spice with my food!!! I would definitely like to try some LA style!I think it’s all in what you like/use to. They take what they call "preferred seating", which they explain as being seated ahead of people without "preferred seating" when you show up. I'm not sure if they would ever turn someone away completely, but they oddly do make sure to stress it is not a "reservation" (even though you pick a time for your "preferred seating")Does the Celebration Town Tavern take reservations?
