I am a big salmon fan--where is the best place to get this at WDW, besides FF?

Artist Point. We lived in Alaska for four years, so we had some of the best salmon anywhere during that time. The cedar plank salmon at AP compares very favorably to some of the best we ever ate. In fact, depending on when you go, they actually serve wild Alaskan salmon (if in season), the best of those being the Copper River salmon which are prized for their taste. The cost of the cedar plank salmon usually goes up when it's Copper River caught, though. The most natural pairing with the salmon is a top pinot noir, and AP has some wonderful Oregon pinots. Their servers are well-versed with the wine list at AP, so they can suggest a good wine if you need. Bon apetit!
P.S. My favorite at AP is actually the buffalo, but that's another post. . .paw:

Another vote for AP, and the wonderful atmosphere at WL helps make the meal perfect!

Bobbi :)

Artist Point hands down...Others are very good but nothing beats AP at WDW or at USF for that matter.

I really enjoyed my salmon in the food court at CBR. It wasn't nearly as expensive as any of the sit down restraunts but it was fresh and well cooked.

I have to agree with AP. I don't even like salmon that much, and am very reluctant to try it when we go out. But the salmon here was incredible! I'm actually a little disappointed it's not on our list for our next trip, just because I'd love to have the salmon again. :teeth:

At Animal Kingdom. Best and Cheapest Salmon plate I've ever had at $8. Matter of fact it was the best meal I had all week!

If you don't mind it a bit mushy and undercooked, by all means try Le Cellier! :thumbsup2

Actually, the best Salmon we had while down there last time was Chef Mickey's. They must have accidently switched the stuff going to the Ca Grill with it. HEHE.

I eat salmon everywhere I go and Artist Point is the best, as others have said.

Also, for a great "quickie" salmon fix, make sure to have lunch at Tusker House when you are at Animal Kingdom. The salmon entree is wonderful.

I enjoyed the maple glazed salmon at Le Cellier

I am probably the only person who eats salmon at the 50's Prime Time. They changed it a little last June but it was still excellent. Have it every trip. I also had salmon at (I hope I am right) Rose and Crown and it was also very good.
Also had a LOT of salmon at Hollywood and Vine because I couldn't find much else at the buffet that I liked. Not as good as the others, but not bad.
