I know in general to get from our resort (POR) to the parks we will need to take the bus (is that correct?) but what im wondering, on our AK day we have dinner ADR's at 1900 Park Fare..would we be able to ride the monorail from AK to the Grand Floridian? From the GF ride the monorail back to?? i've tried to do a lot of research but disney transportation has me stumped lol.

1- Yes.

2- No monorail at AK at all.
Take the bus from AK marked for Grand Floridian.

3- From the Floridian, take the monorail to MK, then the bus to POR.

Hi, animal kingdom only has bus transportation there is no mono rail there so you would need to find the GF bus stop and take the bus there for the 1900 park fare! :thumbsup2

There are three monorail routes:
Resort Route (Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC) -> Poly -> GF -> Magic Kingdom (MK) -> Contemporary -> TTC)
Express Route (TTC -> MK -> TTC)
Epcot loop (TTC -> Epcot -> TTC)

Assuming you're at Animal Kingdom (AK) during the day, you'll need to take a bus from AK to the GF (for your dinner ADR). After dinner, you can take the monorail to any of the other monorail resorts (Poly, Contemporary) or MK. You can go to the TTC, but unless you want to try to head to Epcot, it's probably not where you'll end up. If MK is open, you can go to that park or you can use it as a transfer point to get a bus back to your resort.

I found this pretty cool map that outlines all the routes in a geeky sort of way. :)
