We are going to meet family flying in to MCO after we have already arrived at WDW. DH has decided he wants to go to MCO to meet and surprise them.

What is best route to MCO from POFQ and where to park to meet Intl flight from UK.

Oh and if anyone happens to know the tolls costs even better

TIA

My recommendation would be to take World Center Dr to SR536 to SR417 to Boggy Creek Rd and come in the South Entrance to the airport. The tolls run $2.50 each way. As for parking, I'm not sure which terminal your families flight is coming into so just check the signs as you enter the airport and look for the short term parking for the appropriate terminal. Travel time should be 20-30 minutes

Leaving French Quarter, turn left, takes you down to the main drag Buena Vista, take two rights to cross under and come up on the other side of 536 (Epcot Center Dr) and get on it eastbound. Then take the I-4 ramp followed by the I-4 East ramp. Get off I-4 onto 528 (Beach Line) east. Get off 528 at its exit 9 (Tradeport). Left and cross under, get into middle lane. Required right onto McCoy, little over a mile is 436 (Semoran). Take right here to airport north entrance.

Back to Disney take airport north exit and left at first light (Frontage, becomes McCoy). Next light little over a mile (Conway), take two lefts to get on 528 west.

Tolls $1. each way.

A word of warning ---- Some of the tollbooths going to MCO are unmanned, which means that you must either have the Sun Pass (most tourists do not) --- or you must have correct change. Maybe you don't have to have "correct" change ---- but you must have change. You can't toss a dollar bill into the bucket. We almost got into a bind one time, and we now try to be well-supplied with quarters before driving the route.

It really is a very easy drive.

If you take 536 to 417, anytime you are approaching a toll booth, keep to the far right. They have manned toll booths at all times (just in case you don't have correct change).

I-4 to 528...blech!

Definitely use 417. I say that as a local who avoids I-4 whenever possible at all costs. The tolls on 417 are definitely worth it.
