best rooms at OKW

Hi All, I remember in the past seeing some information on the best or better rooms (areas) at OKW. I'm going to need a 2 BR and this will be my first visit "home". Yay! Can some of you old pros help me out? Thanks for your "magic"

Hi - you will love OKW! The "best" rooms are highly subjective....do you want to be within easy walking distance of the general store and the pool area? Is one type of view more important to you? Do you need an elevator? Our favorites are Old Turtle Pond and lately Southpoint where we had a terrific 2-bedroom last June with a lovely view of the water - #4622.

We have stayed in a GV on Peninsular which was not really to my taste, but it was a quick walk to the bus stop. Try to pin down what is most important to you regarding location and you will be happy! Have fun!

Any room NOT near a "quiet" pool---.

We'll be there in Jan as well but at our second "home" SSR. OKW will always be the favorite and you can't go wrong on any location. Decide what you want in terms of view, distance to pools, etc. You can always request a particular view and building but we've had better luck arriving early and smoozing the CM Also. you might keep in mind that OKW doesn't have elevators so a climb to the third floor is possibly a struggle with older adults or very yound children, luggage, groceries. We always request a first floor as the grandkids love to feed the ducks. Have a great vacation.
