We're staying in a 2 bedroom villa at OKW with a few 4 year olds and an infant. My friend suggested making a room request. The resort seems so big...can anyone recommend an ideal spot for us? I'm thinking of the buses and the proximity to the Hospitality House and pools...

The Hospitality House area is a booking category fior DVC points and not available for cash through Disney Reservation Center. If you have a points reservation and it is not the HH area, you will not get the HH area.

There are several bus stops throughout the resort so you are never far from a bus stop. You can catch any bus to the main pool and the Hospitality House area. There are also several pools with small play areas in each of the areas.

I've stayed at several locations at OKW, but my favorite (and the one I always request) is building 27. It's very close to the Pensular Rd. bus stop, and HH, Olivia's, pool, etc. is just a short walk away. If you get an upper floor, you may be able to see some of the fireworks from Illuminations at night. Have fun! OKW is such a peaceful place to stay!

we were at 47 last weekend. it was close to a bus stop, but quite a walk to the HH.

We like the HH area best and just stayed in bldg. 13 last month. But we are going again in November and could not book that category, so I've requested a water view unit on South Point Road. It really boils down to what you like and what makes life easier for you. With a car, it really doesn't matter.

We generally enjoy being within walking distance of the HH area. HH rooms do not all have great views if that's important. We had a lovely golf course view last month which included a small pond and "fountain", so that was a bonus. We were also on the 3rd floor, which we did not mind. But we love the water views of Trumbo Canal too, so it's a toss-up for us.

We had block number 32 last time, was quiet, close to bus stop and not too far to walk to HH, going to request a bit closer next time though.

We are going to OKW in December. My family's only request was close to a bus stop. Obviously they are not hard to please.

Hi All - What if you have your own rental car and the bus stops are not a big concern? It'll just be my husband and I and we'd like a quiet area possibly with a water view. We're leaving in a little over a month and this is our first time staying at OKW. Thanks.

Our favorites are the Miller's Road 4 buildings 15, 16, 17, and 18. They're close enough for a short walk to the main pool, but far enough for some qiet. And the views of the golf course are fantastic!

Sounds good -- Thanks so much.

In March we stayed in Building 25 in the Hospitality House area, and it was a great location. We were in a corner studio and had a golf course and bit of water view. It was extremely convenient for walking to HH and the Peninsular Rd. bus stop when returning from the parks, but also felt very private and quiet. We are returning in about 13 days, and have HH booking again and in hoping for building 25.
