we have our ressies for POP, and have not chose a preferred room for the additional $$, so what room should I be asking for? and how do I ask for it? when I get there or should I request before I get there. And if so, how can I do that?

Room 5151....is on the back side of the 60's building....close to the breezeway to the pool area and not a far walk up to the 70's Pop water jet area. The main reason that I would suggest it is so that I could tell you that I was there first. :earboy2: But since you won't be in the preferred building....it's not an option. Maggie

Hi Wingnut

Just wanted to know what dates you will be at POP - we check in on 14th July. I've got a great room number for you - just making sure you will have left when we get there. LOL.

I will be there from july 10-14, so I will leave you a great room..LOL

:earsgirl: I'll be there 9/8 - 9/17/05, tell me about the best room, not preferred and not a far walk from the bus ! Share please !!! :earseek:

I didn't stay at a close room, but my room was in the farthest building overlooking the lake! Amazing! I LOVE POP! :)

We requested 50s or 70s building, and they put us in the 50s. We were on the 3rd floor, it was great. No excess noise, and not too far from the main hall. 2 large pools plus the kiddie pool were all nearby.

I was there and stayed in the 90s. I never see the 90s area mentioned, but we were VERY close to parking lot, busstop, and fairly close to the food court as well.

In late Sept I did pay for preferred, for various reasons, but for a regular room, the 90s can work well. But, like most areas, there are close to everything 90s rooms, and distant 90s rooms!

If you want some peace and quiet , ask for rooms NOT facing the pools. They're open till midnight and believe me , there are people down there until then

We loved our room! It was in the 50's, building 2, facing the EPCOT ball and next to the lake. The pool was just on the other side of our building. Nice and quiet and and excellent direct view of fireworks at EPCOT. I could look to the left and see the lake.

Our room number was 2356, but any room between 37-60 would be good. In "2356," "2" is for the building, "3" is for the floor, and "56" is the room number. There are 4 floors. I think the 4th floor would be even better because it would be above any trees.

When requesting a room, ask for 50's area, building 2, upper floor, facing EPCOT ball or lake. We were initially assigned a different building, but I persisted when I checked in and we were rewarded with this excellent room. EJ, Robert and Dave at the front desk worked very hard to get me a good room so say hi to them if you see them. :cheer2:
