Hi there,

I'm heading to Disneyland and DCA next week and have got Genie Plus. Never used it before but I wanted to know what are the best rides to use it on that's actually worthwhile? I know it can differ throughout the day, but does anyone have a list of the best of the best that pretty much always has a longer wait time?

Thanks!

The best rides are subjective and personal preference. I did a solo 2 day park hopper with Genie+ trip a few weeks ago. I did rope drop to late at night and did about 14 rides each day. Some were Genie+ some were standyby and some were single rider.

I dont do Space Mountain, Guardians of The Galaxy, Incredicoaster, which for many are must do rides.

Some rides I know I want to repeat so I will do standby in the morning when the times are low and save the Genie+ for later when the times are high.

Some rides I know I will only do once, so I get a Genie + for whenever it suits me to go on that ride.

When rides are Genie + (LLMP), they have a longer than normal standby line.

LLMP rides at Disneyland include:

LLMP rides at DCA include:

To each is own, but the lower tier on my list would be Autopia, Roger Rabbit, Star Tours (the standby moves pretty fast), Goofy's Sky School, Little Mermaid and Monster's Inc.

Runaway Railway has a nice queue that you will miss if you do LLMP. If standby is less than 45 min, I would probably suggest doing standby.

It definitely depends on your ride preferences. I like using it on rides I like but don't love and would never wait a long time for, like Buzz Lightyear, WEB Slingers, Little Mermaid and Goofy's Sky School. It also saves time on rides I love and want to decrease my wait time for, like Big Thunder Mountain, Smugglers Run, Runaway Railway, Star Tours, PIrates, Soarin', Midway Mania, and incredicoaster. I do use it for Indy, but I'd save it for the busiest part of the day, and only if the outdoor section of the queue is full. The LL only takes you right to the entrance to the temple and from there the standby and LL queues are combined.

I find the biggest time saving rides for Genie Plus to be Space Mountain, GotG, Roger Rabbit, Big Thunder, HM, and Splash. I find that Indiana Jones and Matterhorn are kind of not worth it but I still use them when I want to go on them.

Best if the rides have long lines

Space Mountain
Big Thunder
Toy Story Mania
incredibles coaster
Roger Rabbit

Rides its good for when its busy but you can walk on the rides when its not a peak time
Mermaid, and Buzz

Indy to me is such a waste. I never get why its only the outside for normal guests, really saves you maybe 30 mins if the day is packed.

But then Roger Rabbit you just walk onto the ride basically, lol

Exactly. Its such a waste. I honestly get it knowing it will break down at some point and hope it gets converted to anytime.
