Best rides at night?

Splash, definitely! It has a spectacular view of the castle lights from the vista before the drop. Haunted Mansion and ToT are also creepier at night.

I LOVE BTMRR at night. HM is fun at night, also, just because you know it's dark outside, lol. I have never done Jungle Cruise at night but am planning to do so this trip! Oh!! POTC is fun at night. A PP already said it, but, in all reality, everything at WDW is magical at night.

For some reason I think Living with the Land would be cool at night....

I'll let you know when I try it in October!

It is a little different.

The last time I rode it though, I couldn't help but to think how desperately this attraction needs an update. (the static parts) The kids in the images must be middle aged by now. :lmao:

The film in the early part has not changed in forever. Are we STILL learning about composting and how to use ladybugs for pest management?

and the experiment room looks the same for forever.

Where is the mention of GMO's?

How hard would it be to add new images to the first part and the last part of the attraction?

Splash is cool at night. We rode it at night during the fireworks before, and it was very different and good.

Every ride is better at night IMO. Expedition Everest, Test Track, Thunder Mountain, to name a few.

Splash is awesome at night!
Everest is amazing at night, when you can get on at night. Used to be our favorite night ride.
ToT at night adds the spookiness, love it!

Definitely my two favorite rides to do at night are BTM and TT although I have not had the chance to ride the new version of TT yet.

At MK, we like to do the carousel and magic carpet at night. We were on the carpets to see the fireworks, and get to repeat ride without getting off. It is very nice.

At Epcot, we book the latest dinner ADR at Coral Reef, so that we can max. out the day. And exiting Epcot after park closure and taking a few night time pics in front of the golf ball also add to the experience. It is so quiet, and you feel you have the whole park to your party.

Similar at AK, we book Tusker dinner ADR, and exit the empty park. We went in March, and it is already dark when we exit. Simply magical, and big contrast to the busy crowds you encounter during the day.

Mostly everything in MK is fantastic at night but I think my favorite would have to be the Peoplemover. The views of the castle are fantastic!

For MK I find that the following have a different feel:
-Jungle Cruise
-Splash
-Big Thunder
-Magic Carpets/Dumbo
-Barnstormer
-Peoplemover

Probably also the Astro Orbiter.

DHS:
-ToT has a bit of a different feel at night, just not as much light

AK:
-Everest has as large portion outdoors so it does feel different at night
-And the dinosaur ride that's similar to Dumbo might have a different feel? :confused3

We have ridden the Jungle Cruise 100 times and only recently rode it at night for the first time. We loved it. Entirely different vibe.

We love riding BTMR and Splash while the parade or the fireworks are going off....it's beautiful!

Plan on trying Jungle Cruise and ToT at night on this trip! Thanks for the ideas!

Jungle Cruise at night is a must-do. The CMs seem to have lost it (in a good way) at that point, and it's also a walk-on at that time.

BTMRR is CRAZY at night, and Astro Orbiter gives you a good view of the lit-up Magic Kingdom.

Even though it's a dark ride, I also prefer Haunted Mansion at night. The overall experience in the queue and approaching the mansion is better, IMO.

We rode TT during Illuminations once, which was really cool.

EVERYTHING at WDW is better at night, especially Epcot as evidenced by my name. Expedition Everest is definitely better at night. Haunted Mansion, ToT, and Test Track get an honorable mention.
