My DS has just discovered he likes ribs, so I'm looking to find some hot rib spots for our trip in July.

Where are the best ribs at WDW?
Where are the ribs most reasonably priced?

Thanks for any help!

Well, I don't know if they're the best, but definitely the most reasonably priced ribs are at the Trail's End Buffet at Fort Wilderness! It's a western-themed restaurant, serving ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, etc, etc. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good!

It's also a fun place to spend a little time before or after dinner! There is a petting farm, pony rides, trading post, and hayrides in the evenings!

You can get there by bus from any of the parks, or by boat from the MK.

I've had ribs at Flame Tree BBQ (Animal Kingdom), Hoop-Dee-Doo Review (Ft Wilderness), Whispering Canyon (Wilderness Lodge), Cap'n Jack's (Downtown Disney), and Wolfgang Puck Express (West Side). All except Puck were pork (Puck's were beef). Puck's were the best... they were also a special, and apparently not always available. The next best were at Cap'n Jack's, and came with mashed potatoes and a large serving of mixed greens with a papaya vinagrette dressing. Never been to Trail's End (although I may after seeing so many positive comments on this board), but I would guess their ribs are similar to the ones at Hoop Dee Doo next door. They were pretty good, although the ones at Whispering Canyon were more moist and are also all-you-can-eat (part of the $13.99 bbq platter which includes beans, cole slaw, sausage and chicken).

ESPN on the boardwalk had good ribs as I recall. Have fun planning your holiday.

I don't ever recall having good ribs on property. If you have a car, you could drive to Tony Roma's on Hwy 192 (near the Target?). They have great baby backs there.

I also have taken a liking to the TGI Fridays's Jack Daniel BBQ ribs. It's a sweeter sauce but pretty tasty. There's a TGIF at the Crossroads shopping center.

My two cents, Steve

On property I think Flame Tree BBQ has excellent ribs. Off property I luv the ribs from TGI Fridays on Highway 192.

I also recommend the ribs at Trail's End. Not sloppy like a lot of places.:D

Thanks to all who replied!! Sounds like he'll have plenty to choose from. I'm off to Deb Wills' WDWIG site to check out menus & prices!!

Planning is the only way I can handle 39 more days until our trip!!

I had the ribs at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown disney.
Those were pretty good. I actually had the mixed grill which also included shrimp and chicken. Great meal!
