Best ribs and chicken?

I loooove some good ribs and chicken. Either rotisserie-type chicken or fried chicken. (Not picky!) So where is the best place to go to get both those things while at Disney. Preferrably an all you can eat place. (DH has a hearty appetite and we have an under-3 yr old too) Whispering Canyon? (Will a 2 and 3 yr old appreciate the antics there??) Cape May Clam Bake? Mickey's Backyard BBQ? (Not sure about this one though b/c we're not on the dining plan AND b/c we are going in early December so it may be a bit cold for outdoor dinner!)

So which has the best ribs and chicken in addition to being a good selection for little ones? THANKS! Oh and any pix you feel like sharing would be MUCH appreciated!

WCC is the last place I would suggest for best ribs and chicken. DH got sick on the food in the skillet last year (and I know it was the ribs or chicken because it was the only thing I didn't eat). We've always enjoyed the ribs at Flame Tree Barbecue; and the chicken at Cape May Cafe. Out of the two Cape May is a buffet and all you can eat.

If you like dinner and a show and are willing to spend to TS credits... then the Hoop Dee Doo is a GREAT place for both! They are wonderful!!

We ate at WCC two days ago and had wonderful food! DH and I both ordered the skillet. The ribs and chicken were perfect, but the brisket and pulled pork were even better! LOL. I recommend it. The kids had a great time which made it that much more enjoyable for DH and I.

My favorite ribs so far at Disney have been at Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom. It's not a buffet, but the portion is HUMUNGUS. They are fall-off-the-bone and not fatty at all. OMG, so good. For the kids, they had egg rolls, fried rice, lo mein, fries and such (and i think, chicken nuggets). I loved that place!!!

if you can afford the price the Hoop Dee Doo Review has the best BBQ Ribs & Fried Chicken in WDW. It is all you can eat while the show is going on. They also have a delicious Straw, Straw Berry, Short, Short Cake, Strawberry Shortcake for dessert.

I love the HDDR and try to go every time I am down in WDW.

Cape May Clambake has the best of both! Amazing ribs, the meat falls off the bone and the roasted chicken is so moist and tender...we love it

Trails End Buffet for dinner supposedly has everything they serve at the Hoop Dee Doo next door, except for the
STRAW BERRY SHORT CAKE

I loved both the ribs and chicken and the beans and the cornbread at the Hoop Dee Doo, so we may try Trails End this time.

Plus if you're not on the dining plan, Trails End is the least expense, and a short boat ride from the Magic Kingdom.

Flame Tree Ribs are the best ribs on property IMO! They are so good and such good value....although again if you are willing to use 2 TS cedits try HDDR - their chicken and ribs is pretty amazing as well, and the show is pretty great!

Really? I ate there and found the ribs to be dry an totally non-edible. I ended up throwing them in the garbage along with the rest of the unedible food this place serves. To each his own. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe it was an off day.

Yep....Trail's End for fried chicken! I don't recall that/if they have ribs on the menu though.

I totally agree! Check out Trail's End for the bbq ribs, fried chicken, shrimp, home-cooked sides, & much more. It's delicious, and you can see the water pageant and free campfire sing-a-long with Chip and Dale while you're visiting Fort Wilderness. My experience with the hoopdeedo is that the food is neither amazing nor is it inedible. Its just plain average food.
