Hey everyone,

Despite having visited the parks about 5/6 times I've never actually eaten dinner in any of the restaurants in the parks (We've just always gone for the buffet or table service at our hotel restaurants in NPB/Disney Hotel).

However for my upcoming trip we're there for 3 nights in November and so I'd quite like to experience some of the restaurants actually in the parks. We have the 'Plus' half-board vouchers so can visit most of the restaurants by the looks of it.

Does anyone have any recommendations? What in your opinion is the best themed restaurant? I would quite like to try the new Remy restaurant in the studios. I also like the look of Walts. Blue Lagoon looks perfect due to the immersive atmosphere, however I'm not a big fan of seafood at all, however I think I could find something just to experience the atmosphere. Is there a best time to visit here to get a greater chance of sitting on the edge of the water?

But does anyone else have any different recommendations? I've heard good things about the lucky nugget, but just am really not sure.

One last question - I read on here a while back that if you're using meal vouchers then you need to make reservations in advance of your trip. Is this correct? As if so I'll be sure to sort that soon.

Thanks in advance for any help you could provide :goodvibes

Hi adcadc.

Is there a best time to visit here to get a greater chance of sitting on the edge of the water? Haven't tried Bistrot Chez Remy yet. Blue Lagoon there are non seafood options. I loved my meal there in June. Then they were seating anyone with 6-6.30pm reservations at waters edge.

But does anyone else have any different recommendations? I've heard good things about the lucky nugget, but just am really not sure. Lucky Nugget was lovely in June but they won't give you value for your Plus vouchers - meals ate about 17-18 euros - we paid cash there as they refused to allow us to pay with 1 Plus voucher and change.

One last question - I read on here a while back that if you're using meal vouchers then you need to make reservations in advance of your trip. Is this correct? As if so I'll be sure to sort that soon. On our first visit I only made a couple of reservations and boy did I regret it. Make reservations and then change them when you arrive if you change your mind. Don't leave yourself having to queue for counter service because you have no reservation. x

Thank you Anemone for your extremely helpful post!
I did notice that Lucky Nugget was a lot cheaper than the other restaurants so we wouldn't likely be getting the full value of the vouchers.
It's a tough choice but I reckon we'll definitely be visiting the Remy restaurant and Blue Lagoon, just have to decide whether to visit Nugget or pick someplace else!

Thanks again for taking the time to help :goodvibes
