Booked the dining plan today with the email code!

Which are the best table-service values without using two meals in your experience for two adults?

That probably depends upon your situation. Do you have chidlren to consider?

Shutters at the Carribean Beach Resort (the waitress really let us go all out!)

Grand Floridian Cafe (wonderful food and lots of stuff that we wanted to try)

Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary (LOTS of food, and good too)

Those were the favorites really, all were one table service worth.

Epcot WS restaurants are a good choice- they have recently been added to the plan, and they are all 1 credit per person places. Alfredo's, Les Chefs de France, Teppenyaki, Marrakesh, San Angel Inn, and Le Cellier all come to mind. Entrees can run up to $30 or so at lots of these places- you can really save $$ by being on the Dining plan with these places (and they are nice for a couple- romantic!)

Best Quality food/service/presentation and :

Flying Fish
California Grill
Narcoosee
Citricos
Jiko

However, OP wanted suggestions that are NOT Signature Dining choices. All of these are. Although, I agree that they are great places to dine! :flower:

Did they change the status for Le Cellier? I thought it was a 2 credit Signature selection?

Yes, officially changed to 1 credit to bring it in line with other WS restaurants they have added.
Glad to spread the good news,
Claire

Hrmm... I might need to rethink all of my PS's.... it seems that none of the places we picked are on any of these lists..... we were planning to dine at:

Coral Reef
Akerhaus (sp?)
Brown Derby
50's Prime Time
Boma
Royal Table

Should we avoid any of those & go for something different? I had looked at some of the places in WS, but some weren't on the list... others were signature's and we couldn't didn't want to do more than 2 of those...

Hi, Vascubaguy! I think most of your PS choices are fine:

Coral Reef- IMHO, not worth Signature status. Expensive, yes, but not that great and portions are small.
Akershus- Good, and if you want Princesses, it's fun! (You do know it's an All-Princess Character meal now, right? All three meals a day!!)
Brown Derby- Fantastic- well worth two TS credits.
50's Prime Time- Good food- just not my cup of tea (too shy to play along with the servers).
Boma- haven't eaten here, but it gets RAVE reviews. Great choice!
CRT- Again, good food, and the atmosphere can't be beat- b'fast and lunch (as of June 10) are character meals.

Recently, a lot of the Epcot WS restaurants have been added. :cool1: They include:
San Angel Inn- Mexico
Nine Dragons- China
Alfredo's- Italy
Teppenyaki- Japan
Marrakesh- Morocco
Chefs de France- France
And, Le Cellier in Canada has been changed from a Signature to a Table Svc restaurant.

That should give you some more places to think about! Happy planning! :teeth:

THANKS for the info. I've read some bad reviews of Akershus about the food and disappointing visits since it changed from buffet. And I did know it was a princess character dining which we were doing for the 1 child and a couple of the big "kids". However, I may change this one to Le Cellier or Teppenyaki.

Thanks again!
