Best Restaurant Period!!!

Oh my! I love questions like this.......so many possibilities. It's all a matter of taste and budget.

California Grill has a place in my heart for a few reasons. One being that we ate there on our honeymoon and for some reason whenever I think of CG, I remember THAT meal. Lovely view and nice ambiance. Great food and drinks and a huge variety of things to choose from. Very modern flare.

Narcoosee's. Fantastic food and great resort to wander around for a romantic stroll.

Perhaps take the monorail over to the Poly after dinner for a cocktail and a few smooches on the beach?

San Angel Inn - Mexico is has a very romantic atmosphere. It is a bit crowded at times and it is Mexican food which most wouldn't consider romantic, but eating alongside the volcano with boats passing by just makes me happy. It might just be that honeymoon thing again.

Rose and Crown - England - get a PS for a late dinner or just dessert after you have wandered World Showcase and ask for a table outside. Comfortable place to watch Illuminations from after dinner with a drink. We eat there every trip. What's more romantic then snuggling during fireworks?

Maybe Tony's in the MK. Ordinary Italian but still pretty good. I am a big fan of Lady and the Tramp so I find it very romantic in a cute way.

You could always just wander around World Showcase and sample all sorts of different foods and really take your time. Stop and sit down near the fountain in France with a glass of wine. Really look thru Italy. Share a dessert.

Depending on where you are staying, you could always just order room service and eat on your balcony.

Hope you two have a lovely evening! :smooth:

It seems that everyone is voting for V&A...but can you really justify a 300 to 400 dinner (with wine) versus a 150 dinner at most other places, such as flying fish or upstairs at Wolfgang Puck's.

nope...imo romance is what / where you make of it..our last trip was just hubby and me ( best trip every btw. so much for the "wdw is for kids" proponents )and imo what could be more romantic than strolling around ws waiting for illuminations with all the street lights on...sigh....or having a dessert and coffee in France at a little table at night just the 2 of you... that being said i would give a thumbs up to lecellier which i think is romantic since epcot is my fav. night spot due to the above ( and our meal was very good, maybe not $300 caliber but didn't cost that either) but then like I said to me it more depends on who i'm there with!

For a romantic dinner, other than V&A's My vote goes to 1) Yachtsmans Steakhouse, 2) Citrico's, 3) Artist Point 4) Either of the top places in Italy or France. I personally feel WDW as a whole is a Romantic place, depending on who you are with.

We really like the setting and the food at Yachtsman Steakhouse. My wife loves Ohana, sitting by a window where you can look at the castle during dinner. She would take that over any other resteraunt.

V & A is very romantic and the food outstanding - perhaps a once in a lifetime experience. We spent the holidays at WDW and were fortunate to eat at both CG and Jiko's. CG had been my second favorite restaurant in the "World" following V & A in terms of food quality and atmosphere (if you can time your dinner to coincide with Wishes, it is extremely romantic) - this latest visit was our third. It was the first time we had Sushi at CG and it was the best I've had (but I am sure my experience is limited compared to others). Although we had ordered a flatbread and entrees similar to what we had in the past, we didn't think they were as outstanding as usual.

It was our first visit to Jiko and our meal was excellent! IOur CM was extremely helpful in aiding us in our food and wine choices. It was also very nice to go and see the animals after dinner. A CM had a pair of night vision goggles, so we were able to get a good look at the zebras-my personal favorite (all four!). I think Jiko may now be my second favorite restaurant.

I also like the food at the Flying Fish. I've never been to Fulton's so cannot compare. I would probably choose Jiko or CG over FF for a romantic dinner.

Hope this helps! Enjoy!

Dinner at V&A is as much an "event" as it is a meal. I believe most folks who've actually been there would agree that it's well worth the $$.
And I'm one of them--. Hard to find a better restaurant for 2 adults.
But if $$ is an object, there are other choices. Next in line I'd put Jiko, followed by Citicos. Both have great food and are perfect spots for 2 adults.

California Grill. The wine list is fantastic, the food is awesome and you get to watch the fireworks.

I think V&A could easily be justified as long as it's worth it to the people involved. It sounds lovely and very unique. For a special occasion splurge, it would be wonderful to consider.

We have eaten at Citricos and the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Those are wonderful restaurants with a very romantic atmosphere. The food is divine! Outstanding service as well. We love Citricos and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Good luck with your decision! There have been some great suggestions here!

Food and romance - two of my favorite subjects.

It's hard to pick one, I don't think I could. I can narrow it down to three. We don't have kids, so nice romantic dinners are a big part of our trip. Now, on to my top three, not necessarily in order.

Blue Zoo
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Chefs de France

PamNC

PamNC here again....I can't narrow it down to three after all, I must add another one: Artist Pointe.

PamNC

V&A is by far the best restaurant that we have ever eaten at. We had dinner there on our 10th Anniversary in 2001 and it will always be a night to remember. V&A is very pricey though, so if you don't want to spend a lot of $$$$ I would recommend Jikos. It has become our favorite place to eat at WDW. We ate there again last month and it was fantastic as usual. It was the best meal by far that we had on our trip. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a beautiful place to visit and have dinner at.
