In your opinion, which is the best DD restaurant for families? DH and I have 2 DS, ages 9 and 11 and we like all different kinds of food. DH likes seafood so we're thinking of Fultons, but Bongo's looks like a neat place too. I haven't heard many reviews on Bongo's, though. Hope you all can help. Thanks - Sue

Portobello Yacht Club is one of my favorites. Northern Italian. Yum.

Another vote for Portobello's here! Excellent food! :)

DH and I return there on all our Disney trips!

The food and atmosphere is fantastic at HOB. Give it a try. We went (4 adults plus a 7 year old and 17 year old) and everyone was satisfied with selection and thrilled with food taste/quality. The place is interesting--filled with funky folk art: bottle cap and license plate decorations.

Bongo's is great. We loved it and plan on returning again. Try the margaritas. The only downside is this restaraunt does not take ps's. Try to get there early.

I also think Portobello is the best. But you should check the menu to see if their seafood is exactly what you like. It is a 'Northern Italian" type of place.

We always eat at the Rainforest Cafe. We love sitting in the "Rainforest" & checking out the shop. We have always had good experiences here. Hope this helps! :D

Portobello's is very good if you want Italian. We also love Wolfgang Puck Cafe. LOTS of different choices including sushi. It has a very busy atmosphere though.

RFC and Fulton's. One of these days I will make it to Portobello and Wolfgang Pucks cafe.

I throw in 1 vote for Cap'n Jacks for lunch.

The N.E. Clam Chowder was Good! As was the Chicken Caeser Salad, Tuna Salad on a Croissant and the Broiled Grouper Sandwich.

Portobello's is most consistent. Fulton's in my opinion has the better menu but is rather inconsistent. Service and food quality can vary fro excellent to poor. Normally I still pick Fulton's, depending on how long visit is and who is with me.

I think Bongos was excellent. The service was fast and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is very exciting with live music sometimes. If you're looking for something quiet and romantic, don't go here. If you're looking to have fun with the family, give it a try!. I'm taking the whole family on the next trip.

Thanks for the feedback! With two DS, would Portobello be a little too fancy for them? I'm thinking maybe Bongos or RFC might be more to their liking. Thanks again - Sue

My vote would go to the House of Blues. The atmosphere is great and the food is wonderful! Everything we have tried has been great!

We have ate at Wolfgang Pucks, Bongo's & House of Blues and loved all 3 of them. If you go to House of Blues you have to try the rosemary cornbread it is out of this world.
