Best restaurant for son's birthday~ any suggestions~?

HI~ I will be staying at the Grand Floridian 08/15-20 and my son will be celebrating his 8th birthday on the 16th. I want to make a reservation for his birthday dinner and I would love to hear any suggestions. It will be my hubby and I and 3 kiddies, 9,7 and 6. Thanks

Our favorite place to celebrate children's birthdays is at Beaches and Cream. We always get the Kitchen Sink of course (and we all really like the rest of the food they serve too). When my ds turned 7 last May they even let him go behind the counter to help make it---great photos!! No ADR's though.

For boys I really like whispering Canyon. It would be a resort hop for you but I find my boys enjoy it more than any character meals.

either that or Chef Mickeys. This is my sons' fav character meal as they play loud music and swing their napkins in the air...

Make sure to add to your resort ressies its his birthday as the GF sometimes sends something cute to the room for special occations.

You can also call the private dining number at the GF and have a cake ordered and sent to the room. It would be a nice surprise for him to have it waiting for him when he goes into the room.

I'd say CM or CP. Both are great for kids.

What about California grill..watching the fireworks??? Is the food good?? kids?? Thanks for all the suggestions I will look them up
