me and my husband are going up to wdw, for my 35th bday w/out our child! looking for a great restaurant for dinner, we've done california grill in past and loved it, trying to decide repeat or try new? any opinions on Jiko or yachtmans steakhouse? looking for a nice dinner. (not doing dining plan) would love victorias and albert, but at 125$ a person, not too sure, plus cant really find a menu of what u get.....
HELP Please, we are doing food and wine festival next night, we have annual passes so we are up there alot, have done alot of character meals, love ohana, but kinda want something quieter and nice.......

I went to CRT for my 40th birthday. I don't recommend it.

I think you would enjoy any of the Signature restaurants.

What do you like?

You could watch fireworks from California Grill. Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge is very nice. We enjoy Yachtsman Steakhouse.

If you would like a little fine dining and a little more adult setting with some nice wine, how about Bistro de Paris? I think it actually gets overlooked a bit.

Adult only and no dining plan? My pick would be one of the 3 upscale restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin. Bluezoo, Il Mulino or Shula's, depending on the type of food you want.

Once again--what Pakey just said:)

And would add that of the Disney operated restaurants, Citrico's comes as close as any to being relatively quiet and good for an "adult" meal.

I agree with a pp , Bistro de Paris , is a wonderful option. We celebrated my 33rd there.... The atmosphere was lovely, quietly tucked away location above Chefs de France. Great service, amazing food and presentation, plus, quite
romantic. Check it out !

We have dined at il muluno and loved it !! I'm not much of a seafood eater so bluezoo looked ok but not really my taste , actually looking at ches de France now I always forget about that place and we have never been there !! Citricos I've never been to I thought it was more casual but I may look at it also thank u everyone !!! What are ur opinions about jiko we r both kinda intrigued w their menu and atmosphere can u see any animals while u eat???

http://victoria-alberts.com/ here is a link for V&A... i think it gives you a good idea of what to expect and i'd say for a special occasion it would be worth it! citricos, cali grill were both good... i love the gf atmosphere but the fireworks from cali grill are a nice perk. honestly brown derby i thought was great this past trip too... i guess it just depends on the speed of evening you are looking to have... a little dressy vs casual :thumbsup2 best of wishes on your planning :goodvibes

Careful there! Danger Will Robinson!!!!!!! :lmao: Sorry, just wanted to get your attention. Please don't confuse Les Chefs de France with Bistro de Paris!. The first is an every day so-so TS restaurant. Bistro is a very upscale Signature Restaurant. The only thing they have in common is that they are both in the France Pavilion.

"Ohana would be my pick (without dinning plan). After dinner, take drinks (from the Tambu lounge in "to go" cups) down to the Polynesian beach and watch the fireworks. If you've never been to the Poly, the atmosphere is awesome at night with the tiki torch lit pathways, Hawaiian music playing in the backgrond, and the 7 Seas view is fantastic (Grand Floridian lights/CR/Castle changing colors/Electrical Light Pageant). We just got back from the Poly two weeks ago and writing this post is KILLING me!

:thumbsup2
