Which is your favorite restaurant at the theme parks and why?

We love Nine Dragons ( the fried rice ummm)

only 70 more days till we are there.

I Love 50's Primetime Cafe in MGM.

The themeing there is awesome and the fried chicken is the BEST meal I had on our last trip - and one of the cheapest! :earsboy:

Our last trip in November 2004 we did the Brown Derby at MGM, and Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom. (these were our two "nice" dinners) I had more FUN at Crystal Palace, but the food at the Brown Derby was beyond compare. Everyone at the table thought so. We had:

Potato Leek Soup (to DIE for!!)
Cobb Salad
House Salad (my parents shared this and the grouper)
BBQ Chicken w/green goddess salad
Grouper (my mom said it was some of the best she has ever had)
Grapefruit Cake (not my cup 'o tea but lot's of DIS'ers swear by it)
Creme Brulee

My parents shared the Grouper and they seemed to have plenty., and everyone liked the Potato Leek soup we ordered two more cups to share.

We have a lot of excellent dining here in the Metro Atlanta area, but I will be the first to admit, I have never enjoyed a meal any more than this one. My husband and I ate Le Cellier for lunch on our last day and enjoyed it almost as well. (though I have to say, I made the cheese soup at home using their recipe, and mine was BETTER!!)

MK - Crystal Palace
Epcot - Le Cellier
MGM - Mama Melrose
Animal Kingdom - have only eaten at Rainforest

Brown Derby, by far. Was even better prior to Fantasmic (much better service, slower pace, less crowded, bar was open, had a piano player), but even so it still is a fine restaurant. The Cobb salad is excellent, as is the pork entree they have. And grapefruit cake is good too!

Jiko is probably the best food I've had at WDW. My husband still talks about the dinner he had and it's been almost2 years since we ate there. We'll be having at least one meal there on our upcoming June trip! :flower:

Our favorite WAS Akerhuis (Norway) - at least until the princess invasion! :sad2:

We find most of our favorite WDW restaurants are in the resorts, however for park restaurants, Mama Melrose in MGM is our 1 must do. Its hard to find good Italian in WDW, but we find MM is the best. Love the Caeser salad, chicken parm w/ pasta, penne alla vodka, and flat breads(4 cheese & pepperoni).

Sort of an odd choice but I really like the Plaza Restaurant. The food is good, not outstanding but comforting and the atmosphere is nice. It reminds me of going to Friendlys when I was a kid....if they only had fribbles!

:cool1: Liberty Tree Tavern - The dinner is to die for! Yummy
Crystal Palace Breakfast - Great food and the characters spend a lot of time with you.
The Trails End Buffet - Good food & great prices! Worth the trip!
