Best restaraunts in US/IOA

We will be in Disney for 10-11 nights in December, but will visit US and IOA for the first time during our stay.

What are good counter service places there, and table service as well...even though we most likely won't go to any of those. Doing the Disney Dining Plan and staying onsite there the whole time, will drive over to US/IOA just for the days.

Any recommendations? And please don't boo me, I am an innocent Disney lover, just now learning about the "other" side of Central FL!

Schwab's Pharmacy, Lombard's Landing (full service), Finnegans (full service), Richter's, Louie's

IOA: Burger Digs, Myhtos (full service), Thunder Falls, Cafe 4, Enchanted Oak

This is the Universal board - nobody boos Universal fans in here!

I mostly eat counter-service when I'm at the Uni parks. I think the CS places in IOA are way better than those in USF.

I like grabbing a burger at Richters in USF, and an ice cream soda at Schwabbs.

In IOA, I love the food at the Enchanted Oak (excellent rotisserie chicken!), the burgers at Burger Digs, and most everything at Thunderfalls Terrace (though Thunderfalls seems to be open seasonally, not year round).

The one sit-down lunch I have tried at Uni is Mythos in IOA. The food is fabulous, and the atmosphere is terrific. I highly recommend Mythos! My favorite dish was the lobster-corn bisque.

My vote is for Thunder Falls Terrace in IOA. I have been to Louie's for pizza in US. Louies and Cafe 4 in IOA is good for a relatively inexpensive pizza meal. They both sell pies for 13.99. I bet that will serve your family with some to spare.

IOA - ENCHANTED OAK !

We loved it ! Eating inside a big tree, had a table in a nook in the wall. Burgers, Ribs, 1/2 Chicken, 1/4 chicken & ribs, turkey legs, salads, soup & salad....meals came with corn roasted in husks, corn muffins.....all very good ! Could also eat outside overlooking lake and also had bar in there that served lots of ales etc.
