Hello
Returning to DLP after 5 years with two kids now 12 and 15. We have done all character meals before so no longer a requirement with teens. We defo want to try PYM so am trying to figure out if I should buy the half meal plan or not. We are staying in marvel hotel with no breakfast. Half board for 2 days for 4 is 520 euro. How much is a regular grab and go breakfast? And if we went with meal plan what second restaurant would you book. We have been to chef remy before and captain jack gets terrible review. Trying to figure out if I should pay OOP and if I get meal plan what is second restaurant to go for to get maximum value? Hope that's helps. We are going to go to rainforest cafe first night staying off site as that was always a favorite of ours. Is there another restaurant in village I should consider if not going meal plan
Hope my question makes sense?
Thank you

You arrive on ,say Sunday night .... meal at Rainforest cafe then

Marvel Hotel.

Now a None Disney Hotel Breakfast On Monday might cost

€ 15 per person ( Buffet ) = € 60

Monday Night Dinner Might cost € 40 each = € 160

Tuesday morning Breakfast = € 60

Again these Prices are for LOCAL Hotels NOT in the
Paris Area

Breakfast options are quite limited - we usually buy breakfast in Disney Village as we find there’s a decent choice there. You’re probably looking at between €5-10 per person for a breakfast in a quick service place in Disney Village (e.g. McDonald’s and Earl of Sandwich). Annette’s Diner does a great value sit down breakfast but doesn’t open until a bit later so not ideal if you want to have an early breakfast before the parks.

If you aren’t interested in the buffet breakfasts at the hotel, and would buy a quick breakfast on your way to the parks, then yes, paying out of pocket will likely end up cheaper than paying for the meal plan (depending on what evening meals you have, of course). But the breakfast buffets are a real treat at the Disney hotels and a great way to start the day. They are also more filling than a quick service breakfast and we find last us right through to dinner, which saves us from spending €15 per person on lunches each day.

I’d have a look at the list of sit down restaurants on the DLP website and see if any appeal to you. The menus are all available too which I find really helpful when trying to work out whether a meal plan is worth getting. Walt’s, Captain Jack’s and Cape Cod are some of our favourites.
