Best Resorts for Teenagers

My teens liked the BWI for its proximity to two parks. After ten or so they didn't care for Magic Kingdom so we didn't do any resorts near there.

I have always thought that the Cabins at Fort Wilderness would be a wonderful place for teens. The boys could grill, fish, bike, and rent a golf cart to drive around. If they enjoy nature and being outdoors, they would have lots of space and a beautiful and fun resort to explore.

Have to figure height into the equation if they are going to all want a separate bed, but with the queen in the bedroom, two of them could be there and one on the sleeper sofa, if no one fits in the bunk bed.

Our friends 2 teenagers did NOT like SAB, my friend said their exact words were, "there were to many unattended little kids running around" :rotfl2:
If it was not for construction I would say CSR, they have a very good main pool and then quite pools also. They would probably like POLY also, I know for us, I would not foot the bill for a deluxe stay, because I believe they will spend a lot of time at the parks.

I think the values are great for teens. They really wouldn't care about busses, and the theming is cool. Pools are sort of crazy and even at night are busy. The only thing is that there aren't water slides, so maybe they would care about that if they are planning lots of pool time.

Have you thought at all about Universal instead for the kids? Disney is great & lots of people on these boards seem to have older teens that still love it, but my DD14 just told me she is done with Disney and I've heard that from a lot of my friends' kids as well. My kids love adventure & thrill rides so as much as they like the "magic" of Disney, the parks are actually a little boring for them now. Universal attracts way more teens and has much better rides for them. There always seem to be many more teens at the hotels there as well.

If I was going to bring a group of teens to Disney, I would probably opt for an Epcot area resort so they wold have the freedom to walk to the parks. Some teens like to sleep in more than others so it would make it easier for them to meet up. I would also make sure they had park hoppers so they could easily switch parks if they get bored.

My son loved our last stay at the BC. He stayed in the pool for hours playing volleyball with a bunch of teen boys. He's going on his senior class trip in March and they are staying at All Stars. He hasn't mentioned being disappointed to not be at the BC. He's at Disney. In the long run he doesn't care. He'll be there with his friends with plenty to do.

I will agree with @katie111 Universal seems to be the way to go for the older crowd. No need for ADR's. Not so much preplanning. I know two families that did Disney every year and this year they are going to Universal for price and minimal planning.
