Best resort restaurant?

Everyone keeps answering with signatures, and those are certainly the best! It would be nice, as a PP requested, to have some more info. Do you WANT signatures? Is V&A way out of your budget? Do you have any particular preferences?

Here's my list (in no particular order) w/o knowing your likes/dislikes, and as someone who's never been to V&A (a budget problem...):

Signature:
Flying Fish
Jiko
CA Grill
Yachtsman

TS non-sig:
Kouzzina
Cape May Cafe
Boma
Sanaa
Kona
Beaches and Cream

QS:
Mara. It's the only one we really like.

As a PP said, the resorts have the best restaurants, regardless of price point. Check out some menus on allears.net and hit the review board. :hippie:

Well, this is a difficult one! LOL

Flying Fish for sure.
Boma was nice as well as Ohana.

Narcoosees, Cali Grill, V&A, Jiko, and Yatchsman are on our to do list the next year.

California Grill gets my vote! On our first family vacation to WDW, my Disney-reluctant husband declared his meal at California Grill the second favorite meal of his life. That's high praise. We travel frequently and seek out new restaurants regularly.

Our family likes 'Ohana, it's fun and we have had good food there.

Many readers on these boards like Artist Point, but I don't see the wow factor there.

We also liked Boma--the choices were interesting, the food was well prepared and good for a buffet. I'd also recommend the lounge, Victoria Falls, before dinner. It's a great place to sit and enjoy a cocktail or mocktail.

We like to stay at POR and the Riverside Mill food court has fantastic breakfasts (the mickey plate and muffaleta are noteworthy) that I dream about when I'm sitting at my desk staring down a yogurt.

On the negative side, I am not a fan of Sassagoula Floatworks (messy, chaotic), Kona (we had a really poorly prepared dinner there), and Captain Cook's (although I gladly ate there when we stayed at the Poly).

Good luck!

Budget is not a problem. We always spend the extra money to eat well when we go to Disney. That's part of the vacation for me!
