Hi everyone! DH and I will be going to WDW for 4 days in April without kids so we are looking to go to some of the Disney Resort Lounges. We won't be on the dining plan this time so it works out perfect for visiting lounges. We are for sure going to try Trader Sams since we will be staying at the Poly (not sure if that even counts as a lounge?). We are also between Sanaa Lounge, Territory Lounge, and Mizner's. Are any better than others? We will be there Thursday - Sunday so I'm also curious how busy they are. We are open to suggestions!

Mizner's is my number one because I usually see someone I know there, I know all the bartenders (except this weekend, they're all away at the same time...yikes), and I can and do spend hours listening to the band. The food comes from the Citricos kitchen and is excellent. It does get a little crowded these days now with the villas.

Territory Lounge is quieter and feels more laid back, more of a quiet evening place. There are also some decent food items on the bar menu.

Trader Sam's is singular. It's as much of a show as anything, and the tiki drinks are great. Tambu Lounge is also at the Polynesian, but it gets to be a noisy circus once 'Ohana starts serving, and the drinks are better at Trader Sam's anyway.

River Roost at Port Orleans has Yehaa Bob Jackson, who is worth seeing at least once.

Sanaa is less of a lounge and more of a restaurant bar. It can get crowded when the restaurant does, but before 5:00 you should have no trouble getting a seat. You can order the full menu as well.

bluezoo at the Dolphin is great for something a little more adult. Generally no issue getting a seat unless there's a big convention at the hotel, and, again, you can order the full restaurant menu.

My favorite is the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. It is great to leave MK, hop on the monorail to the Poly.

My favourites, probably in order as of today:

Belle Vue - Boardwalk
Mizners - Grand Floridian
Territory Lounge - Wilderness Lodge
Crews Cup - Yacht & Beach Club
River Roost - Port Orleans
California Grill - Contemporary

We've been to Belle Vue and River Roost, but I was pregnant at the time. Possibly worth another visit then :)

Crews Cup. Pretty good food (from Captain's Grille kitchen) and a good drink selection last time we were there. Yacht Club is also our favorite resort. We liked the lounge at The Wave for food and drinks, though not much on atmosphere.

Mizner's is a good choice. But if it is too crowded (which it can be, and it's somewhat random when or why other than it is sort of small), you can always wander over to Citricos bar, order a drink, and take it into the lobby to hear the orchestra and/or pianist. The GF lobby can be a great place to just hang out in the evening. The orchestra schedule is easy to find online.

Over at the Epcot resorts, I agree with other posters that Crew's Cup is a great choice.

If you like sushi, or karaoke, check out Kimonos at the Swan. Great sushi. Great service. Between 5:30 and before karaoke starts, it's nice and quiet. Karaoke gets going after 9.

We love the River Roost at POR. We always make it a point to go on more than one evening when we stay there. Wish we could fit it in this trip, but we aren't staying there this time. Yeehaw Bob is so great!

We love sushi. I also really like the idea of the GF lobby. Thank you!

If you want a more quiet bar in the Epcot resort area, there is an out of the way little gem. I'm amazed every time I've been it's been very quiet...

I was considering that one too! We've never been to the Beach Club. It looks like a beautiful resort, it'd be fun to explore over there.

bluezoo at the Dolphin is really good - but can be very busy with conventioneers and is not as easy to get to as many others - I usually walk over from Epcot.
Kimonos as the Swan - Sushi (best on propery), karaoke and sake.
The Wave Lounge in the CR - has a great beer selection - the staff also knew a lot about beer

The Outer Rim Lounge at the Contemporary serves wonderful drinks in a beautiful atmosphere, but I don't think there is any food.

The afternoon bartender Ray has some great magic tricks to show you too.

Have fun!

Also there is the new AbracadaBar at the boardwalk - a magic themed cocktail bar that looks interesting - it is next to the Flying Fish where the candy shop used to be

Yes!! I'm anxious to try this one too.
