Best Resort for Teenagers?

Stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort in March of 2012 and probably going back to WBC in March of 2014...but...would like to hear Resort recommendations for 16 and 17 year old boys. They enjoyed relaxing in the rooms at WBC, but didn't really get into the activities or care much about the pools. What are some other Resort options that have activities geared to teenagers that I might be missing out on?

My son and his friend loved Saratoga Springs, but it was because the main pool and all the "hot" girls. Their words, not mine. They loved going to the health club there. And they enjoyed playing basketball and going over to DTD disney.

What about a DTD hotel? At their age they would be old enough to walk over to DTD and entertain themselves? Just a thought, my boys are 21, 19, and 11 and do not like "planned hotel activities." All three would prefer to do their own thing. You could also buy then passes for Disney Quest.

As they could entertain themselves, you can then just relax and enjoy your time.


Same would go if you stayed at a hotel within walking distance to Universal City Walk. The boys could entertain themselves.

Sheraton Vistana Resort

It is an older resort. It has been rehab. Don't know why - but it seems to have a lot of older teens males. Now my last trip was several years ago - but went twice and it was the same.

so either try it or go by it and just look.

has it for a fairly decent price - you can do better - but it would require you to work.
