Best Resort for teenagers (16th birhtday)

Hi,
I'm thinking about taking my son and a friend to Universal for ds's 16th birthday next year. I'm thinking the HRH would be the most fun for them but since I've never been I'm not sure. Which resort do you think would be best out of the three Universal hotels? They'd probably like a fun pool, they are both into music (someone mentioned a DJ at the HRH pool), but I don't want to take them somewhere geared toward young kids (that's why we're avoiding Disney this trip) We'll be visiting Universal/IOA probably two days while we are there so being close to the parks would be good. Any advice/tips would be appreciated.

Its my third favorite but DD12 and DS17 love HRH. DS17 turns 18 the end of the month and we have stayed on-site for his birthday since he was 14. He turned down the opportunity to go this year for payment in lieu to go for a car!

Teenagers and HRH go hand in hand. The atmosphere appeals to them in a major way. If my kids could pick we would never stay anywhere else.

I feel much better about my choice now! Really looking forward to this trip to "spoil" oldest ds a little since he's always such a trooper when we take the little ones to WDW. He enjoys it but I think most of the enjoyment comes from watching his little brothers have such a great time
