Best Rental Car Option from Wilderness Lodge

We are looking to rent a car for 1 day during our trip to WDW (staying at Wilderness Lodge) to go to Legoland.

For those of you with rental car experience, what is the best/easiest way to get the rental car?

1. Alamo at the Car Care Center? (and how do you get there with Disney transportation?)
2. Hertz at Shades of Green? (Get to Poly and walk over or is there a Hertz shuttle?)

Car Care Center also has a shuttle, call anywhere from 24 hrs to 1 hr ahead of when you want to get picked up. Best to call a day ahead though if you can.

They will take you back to your resort also.
