We'll be arriving on a Wednesday in Orlando, spending three nights at WDW and then driving to Cape Canaveral on Saturday to catch the Magic.

THe best deal I've found is using my AAA with Avis for $128.

Any ideas on how to get a better deal? I've thought of renting a car from a MCO-only supplier (seems like I read that L&M is very reasonable), returning it and then doing a 1 day rental from Avis for the drive to Cape Canaveral. BTW, renting for one day from Avis is definitely cheaper than using Disney's shuttle for the three of us.

Thanks for any ideas you care to pass along.

Try Alamo without any code. I haven't used Alamo since they've moved on-site of the airport, but their rates have been coming up better with no code than any of the other on-site car rentals with a code. I guess Alamo's service is better now that they're on-site so I'm going to give them another try. If you want to check out others-go to Mousesavers.com and research for car rental discount codes you can try.
