Best rates for Pres week?

Any ideas on what a discounted rate for Pres week would be, if one was available? Specifically 2/24-2/26/06? We're DVC and move for the weekend. I'd love to try and stay onsite here, but Even in watching it last year, I don't think the rates were even under $200/night and I just can't justify that. DH and an AP, and we have Loews, AAA, Entertainment - but I've never been able to get anything to work us?
And now that WDW AP poilicy requires 60 advance for those rates, I really have to plan ahead!

Should I keep watching or just give up now?

Right now I have RPR booked for 2/17-2/20 and the best rate I could get was $251 with AAA. Back a few years ago I had an Entertainment rate of $160 during Presidents week and that was staying at PBH. I'm really having a hard time paying $251 a night. I keep checking and hoping for a lower rate. I haven't even bought our park tickets because I'd be willing to buy an AP to get a good discount. So I guess I'll just keep checking. Anyone that just went this past President's week(2005) get a discount? And do you remember when the discounts for that week were released?

I just could not justify the $251. I am going to do the Holiday Inn for $79 and give up FOTL.

Can you upgrade your ticket that weekend to get FOTL? It might be worth it.
