I want to book for April....
Maybe 2nd or 3rd week.
Before I make res I need some help please.
I think we will be staying at a AS resort.
Maybe PC.
I see so many of you get these great rates...
I seem to pay full rack rate all the time.
I am not a AP holder.
I know I am going at a busy time but can anyone give me some kind of codes or secret password:hyper:
There is a candybar in it for you::yes:: ::yes:: :teeth:

As you will notice fom reading the boards we all book our ressies at rack rate and sit, wait, and pray for those "codes" to come out! You will probably have to hang in there until at least the end on Dec. to see if they will be offering any discounts for the April. I am also waiting for that time frame. Just keep check the board and mousesavers. You can also do a code history check on mousesavers to see what and when the codes have been in the past couple of years. Hope this helps

I believe even now you have a couple of choices. First, if you belong to AAA, you can get a discount because of that membership. It is not huge, but it is a bit. You can call CRO and ask what the rates is for AAA members. You need a membership number to make the reservation, but not to inquire about the rates.
Second, if you have kids under 10, you can buy the dream maker package at the rack rate, but get free passes for the kids. If you have 2 kids, I think it may end up being a good deal. If not, I am not sure that it makes much sense to do it One thing is that you need to charge this package on a VISA card to qualify. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Milmore, I have the same question as Candylover. So after you book your room at rack rate and a code comes out what do you do? Book another room or will Disney change it if you call? Thanks!

Kcbean,
Yes Disney will change your reservation. All you do is when you get the code is call up and tell them you would like to modify your reservation and tell them that you would like to apply code...
But you have to act fast code rooms are limited and I can assure you that they are a lot of people waiting for these discounts. So when you see the codes come out call right away. I hope this helps any more questions just ask! Good luck in getting those codes.

Easter is April 11 next year, it is sometimes difficult to get discounts for the week before & week after. I would try for later in the month. Regular season starts 4/18 (before is peak).

We have been going to Disney every Easter for the past five years, and they have never had discounts for the week before and the week after Easter. The only discount we have been able to get is thru AAA -- and that is usually 10% made ten months out.

Hi,

Best rate you will probably find for that time will be through AAA. I booked Easter week about ten days ago and went with the kids stay free program with Prince and Princess package. Got preferred category at CBR. AAA discount was about 15% off of rack, but the package I booked through the Disney Visa even beat that price, although you would need to get that CC and pay for entire package with it. That time in April being peak time is usually very sparse with discounts. Good Luck.

Thank you so much.
You are all suck a big help::yes::

:bounce: me too, we always go at Easter, but I still haven't decided when I want to go (date). Thinking about leaving the 2nd or 3rd for staying 3 -4 days in DW and maybe either the Radison or Comfort for the other days, but as I said haven't figured it out yet. Checking all different prices from different places. Got 1362.10 fromt April 3-7 at CB, including passes, tax and insurance from AAA and 1096.10 for All Star Sports for the same date with the same things and that is with the discount sooooo will keep looking.::MickeyMo

We are also looking to go after Easter, the week my kids have off of school. I would do the prince/princess package deals with Disney Visa except my kids will be 16 & 12. I'm hoping that they will come out with another deal.
The 12th of April is my DD 16th b-day and she would love to be able to be in her (& everyone elses) Happy Place.

Oh boy... I guess I should have checked for type o's...
Oh well, hey at least you all got a good laugh.
I agree.. 2 of my children are also 12 and 16 (one 8)
so I am hoping for a new offer too.
