Ok, I am going to be at WDW from March 26 - April 6. The first week I'm going to be staying at BWV on points. The 2nd week I'll be at a conference that is being held at the Swan&Dolphin, Yacht & Beach Club, and Coronado Springs. (Yes it is a pretty big conference, probably going to be about 8,000-10,000 people for it).

Ok, so my question is about the 2nd week. I took a look at the conference rates (which have to be booked directly thru the conference organizers, can't book thru CRO and get the rates). Anyway, after looking over those conference rates, they don't seem very "great" to me. The rates they are giving are for the Swan & Dolphin, Yacht Club, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans, and two of the value resorts (ASMu & ASSp I think). The first two are at $209/night, the next 2 are $152/night, and then the 2 values are $104 (all plus tax and for single rooms).

Now, I just did some quick searches for rates and I already know that thru AAA I can get Coronado, POR and the 2 value resorts a bit cheaper. I'll most likely have an AP by then too and could get them even cheaper with AP rates. Now the deluxes are a different story though, I know the Yacht Club is over $400/night regularly and with the DVC discount I'd still be around $300 so the $209 rate doesn't seem too bad. However, I've seen the Swan & Dolphin as low as $99/night.

For the conference, I'm sorta pushing them to put us up in the Yacht Club, but I may need to find a place to stay from when we check out of the BWV before we move to the conference resort. I can probably get the conference rate for those nights, but what do you guys think... should I take advantage of those rates at the Yacht Club or try for an AP rate at POR or some other Deluxe (maybe AKL).

Thanks in advance!
