Best Rate Now Accepting through 02/15/06!

Go for it people! The Best Rate Program through the AP web site has been updated. It's now accepting reservations through 02/15/06. 12/20/05 through 01/01/06 is blacked out so don't even try. I just got off the phone with CRO to verify. I'm out of luck, but I hope you all get what you need! Good luck everybody!

Thanks for posting. I took a look at the last week of Jan/Feb and was surprised at the rate...a little higher than in past. I couldn't find the 2006 regular rates to see if they are higher. Value season for WL and AKL standard room use to be $199 a night, so not sure what it is for 2006. I got a rate from the best rate for $135 a night (before taxes) for both of these resorts standard rooms. So if last year's rate is still the same, the discount is just a little over 30% off ($64) a night. The value resorts look like they are coming in at the standard $59 a night. I checked the contemporary and nothing available (Jan.28-Feb.4). It's hard for me to commit during this timeframe because it will only take a snow storm or blizzard in the north (Wash.DC) for me to have to cancel my trip because of closed airports. Last year we had a huge storm, but I was in WDW and HAD TO STAY one more day....now that's the way I like it. (OT: WL was wonderful and let us stay one more night at our discounted rate....)

NOTE: Just looked on the wdwinfo page to see the 2006 rates and saw that standard room are higher at $205 a night, up from the $199 a night. That explains the $6 increase

It looks like the value resorts are $20 off a night, the moderates are $40 off a night, and the deluxe and DVC properties are $70 off a night.
