Best rate at Polynesian??

My jaw is still on the ground..........but dh is considering staying at the Polynesian for part of our upcoming trip. I'm going to look at mousesavers too, but could anyone share some of the best rates they've ever gotten at the Polynesian during the regular season? We're going in early May. We've got annual passes and AAA but so far, there are no AP discounts and AAA hasn't helped either. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Hopefully you did look on Mousesavers because there are many codes you can use for May. I did have the Poly 4/29-5/7 for $272 a night for GV. I ended up getting a better rate with a postcard but $272 is still a good deal. I'll still be looking for AP rates too!

We are going the first week in May and we got the Poly GV Conc. for $329 a night (tax incl.).

I kept track of last years codes and AP rates. Poly GV was $149 during value season 2002 and $184 during regular season. Value season 2003 GV was $179. I'm hoping based on past rates and if Ap rates follow the same pattern (and if they are even released).....that's a lot of ifs... is that Poly GV would be about $203 for 2003 regular season. All of these prices were pre tax so add 11.5%. Come on AP rates!!

With the FL resident code I was quoted $221.80 a night, tax included for a GV room at the Poly. That was the first of May.
