My mom and I will be going to WDW in the end of August and in November. We usually do table service meals in DS and we have decided to switch it up and try some QS options there. What are some favorites that you guys have there? We are not very picky and like most things :) We are AP holders so anywhere with the discount is great too!

I like the options at Morimoto Asia Street Food. Frontera Cocina has a solid takeout window, too.

Tagging on here---really interested in some of the new offerings as far as QS at DS. Especially those that are on the DP!

Wow i didnt even realize that frontera cocina had a takeout window thanks!!
Yep, it's adjacent to the main entrance of the restaurant. The menu is small: beef or pork tacos, guacamole and some alcoholic beverages, but if you want a heavy snack or light lunch, the food's excellent.

For cheap eats, Earl of Sandwich, the sandwiches are really good. WPE solid choice's all around. Lots of new stops to grab something, also the food trucks might be interesting. You could always share a appetizer or meal, at PH or T-REX / Rainforest, we sit at the bar sometimes and share something we love the atmosphere.

Here are some of our favorites over the years. WE LOVE DS!!

Wolfgang Puck: Breakfast Pizza,Chicken Meatball Pizza,Meatloaf

Earl of Sandwich: Original 1762 & egg n cheddar for breakfast

Polite Pig:My DH ate here & he LOVED the Pork Shoulder w/ Mac & Cheese

Cookes of Dublin: Hog in a Box & Farmhouse Cobb Salad

Weztles Pretzels: Not really a QS location, but the pizza pretzel replaced a meal for us & they are amazing!!! Pretzel dog was good too.

Is the Polite Pig on the dining plan? As a QS? I've heard it is, but on the Disney website, it's not listed as accepting dining plans.

For all the times that we have Disney we have passed earl of sandwhich and always thought it looked good but we still haven't tried it yet!! I've heard some mixed reviews about the new polite pig but I really love BBQ so that is definitely an option. Thanks for your input :)

I read mixed reviews as well on Polite Pig but my DH is also a BBQ fanatic & wanted to try for himself! I had a taste of both & they truly were excellent. I imagine the restaurant was working out opening kinks. The mac & cheese reminded me of my Pap's homemade & he made it best!!!

Earl of Sandwich is a really good option, the food is just really good & inexpensive which is a huge plus on disney property!

Touring plans saids it's not on the qs dining plan. They do have snack items on the dining plan but mostly just water and soda things like that. They do have BBQ cracklings on the snack you can get on the dining plan.

Update on another thread they say that the polite pig accepts the dining plan.
