I know this has probably been asked many times before but I am looking for the best Counter/Quick Service places in MK and HS.

We have all of our TS ADR's but we are just making a list for some good food in these places.

We are at Pecos Bills and it was OK, but nothing special. We felt the same thing about the Backlot Express in HS. Nothing special.

We plan to visit the Tangerine Cafe in Epcot and Flametree Barbecue in AK. Also, we plan to visit Wolfgang Puck Express one day in DTD.

Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT and Columbia Harbor House in MK are a couple of my favorites. When at HS I will usually get a sandwich at Starring Rolls. If you're on the dining plan you can get one of their amazing cupcakes for dessert. You already mentioned Wolfgang Puck Express and Tangierine Cafe which are both great. Another DTD favorite is Earl of Sandwich.

No one? After I posted this I read that HS is the worst park for CS places but there has to be an edible place in there.

I read on the DWD site that "Starring Rolls" was the best one to eat at. Has anyone been there?

In MK, we read that Columbia Harbour HOuse is a better choice. We love the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary but not sure it's worth the time to take the monorail over there and back.

I personally think AK is the worst place for restaurants, period, whether CS or TS. Hollywood studios has an outdoor area on Sunset near TOT with Fairfax Fare, Rosie's, and one other place I think. They have Ribs/Chicken/Burgers/Dogs. Not bad. Starring rolls is good, but the sandwich selection is a bit limited. In the back there is Studio Catering Company which is your basic CS food. Stay away from the ABC Commissary.

At MK, I like Columbia Harbor House because we can sit upstairs and people watch out of the windows. Plus the apple desert is really good! Cosmic Rays has a nice selection and a big toppings bar.

Have Fun!!

We used to love pecos bills, but last year it was sooo nasty didnt even taste like hamburger meat...wolfgang puck express is very very good for counter service..we usually eat alot of our counter service meals at Pop the kids love it and its pretty good..we snack alot with pretzels etc instead of big lunches..

MK - Columbia Harbor House,
EC - Kringla Bakery, Tangerine Cafe, Sunsine Seasonings
ST - Starring Rolls, very good sandwiches and desserts

Resorts - Riverside, Art of Animation, Earl of Sandwich and WP Express

MK- Columbia Harbor House for SURE and Casey's- I have to have Casey's at least twice per trip.
AK- Pizzafari, call me crazy but I crave their pizza all the time! Last trip I ate it 3 times!
Epcot- I still havent found somewhere at Epcot I like actually so I avoid eating there all together
HS- Starring Rolls has really good cupcakes and breakfast items!

In Epcot we LOVE the Tangeriene Cafe - it's our FAV CS place there. But we really like that style of food too (cous cous etc.). We don't like Sunshine Seasons. Have done the CS Chinese place a couple of times. It's OK for what it is...and have done the fish & chips place in England...but there's never anyplace to sit there & we end up sitting in the hot sun on a wall or something so I don't like it so much.

In AK we bounce between Flame Tree BBQ & Pizzafari. DH likes Flame Tree & DS and I like Pizzafari. We HATED the Yak & Yeti CS place when we tried it - it was just nasty. Restaurantosaurus is just run of the mill.

In MK we do Columbia Harbor House at least once. Was thinking of trying Pinocchio's in Fantasyland next week bcuz we've never done that one. We also sometimes hit the Tomorrowland Terrace place because we can split up & get diff. things. We sometimes do Pecos Bills but it can be hit or miss. The Plaza is a TS place but is on the cheaper side (sandwiches) so you might check that out if you like Rubens or Steak & Cheese. It will only cost slightly more than a true CS place and it's nice & quiet & "normal".

HS - YUCK for just about all of the CS places. The ABC Commissary is gross. USED to be one of our favs but the past 3-4 years or so it has been icky. We usually do Backlot Express for CS food there. OR we just leave the park and eat someplace else, like at our resort. HS is really behind on the CS options.

As for AK quick services, if you like Disney pizza, Pizzasafari is a great place to go! We tried Flametree before but they didn't have any other sides except for beans and we weren't too keen about that.
Starring Roll sandwiches are delicious, and certainly large enough to share between two adults. Plus you get to pick one of their fabulous delicious deserts. If you’re looking for a QS at DHS I suggest Starring Rolls.
