Hello folks! We are looking for ideas for quick service meals and snacks on the dining plan. What are the best or ones to avoid while we are there? Thanks!!!!

You will get different people naming pretty much every QS restaurant and snack on property. Tastes vary widely! What do you mean by "best"? Best value? Best tasting? Best for sharing? Give us a little more info and we'll be happy to help :o

Best Value and Best Tasting places. I get that most of them are the same but which ones seem to be clean and friendly. Reading reviews on some of the TS places people aren't as nice. Im sure it happens to be the day but i want to make sure have a positive experience when we go.

Who is in your party? What are their ages? What are their likes/dislikes? Are there adventurous diners or are folks picky? What are your taste preferences? What constitutes "value" to you - the "experience" " the cost" the "themeing"? All are different for everybody.
Our favorites:
MK BOG lunch, Columbia Harbour House
AK Flame Tree Barbeque
DHS Not much there for QS. We are trying Starring Rolls next trip
EC. We love many of the International QS including:
La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico
Sommerfest in Germany
Katsura Grill in Japan
Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco
French Bakery
Fish & Cips in the UK.
DS Earl of Sandwich & Wolfgang Puck Express have loyal fans

Good Luck

At Epcot, we like Sunshine Seasons in the Land building by Soarin - lots of variety and large area to sit. American Adventure also has a large seating area and I was pretty impressed with burgers. At HS we like Starring Rolls (good sandwiches and dessert) and Backlot Express is pretty good. Flame Tree BBQ at AK, and there is nice shaded seating behind it with a pretty view of EE - just watch out for birds, they can be aggressive! Went to Pizzafari in Dec. and salad was decent - I think it was chicken ceaser. At MK we like the flatbreads at Pinnochio's , Columbia HH has a quieter area to sit upstairs, and you can get QS lunch at Be Our Guest, the Beauty and Beast castle, but you need to get a reservation for that one. It is neat to see the three different rooms, and you grab a drink and silverware, but they bring the food to the table you choose, so it's kind of like TS, and it's a nice break in air conditioning. Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs is good if you are heading there. If you check out allears.net, they have menus so you can see what types of food each place offers.

For snacks, DD and many on these boards will tell you to try a Dole Whip, which can be found in Adventureland in MK and also in AK. Frozen Lemonades in AK are also refreshing. We love Sleepy Hollow in MK for funnel cakes, waffles, and large ice cream sandwiches. Starring Rolls in HS has great cupcakes. Epcot has many treats in each country, the French Bakery has some good eclair so and pastries, and we tried a delicious caramel drink in Germany in Dec., which tasted like melted caramels - so good!(not sure if it is seasonal). And at some pt. every trip we grab a Mickey ice cream bar, a classic on a hot day, trying to eat before the chocolate melts!

Another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs- Marketplace. Variety of choices - pizza, pasta, rotisserie chicken, salmon, salads, meatloaf, chicken fingers, mac n cheese, and for dessert, frozen yogurt, cheesecake, cream brule. Quick service with real silverware, drink refills, really nice! This place can get busy, so eating at off hours is a good idea. At Magic Kingdom we like BOG, but recommend getting a reservation. We also enjoy Columbia Harbor House and Pinocchio's at MK.
For snacks we love to go to Goofy's Candy co

Here are our favs-

BOG lunch- MK
Pecos Bills- MK
Flame Tree- AK
Sunshine Seasons- EP
Yorkshire Fish Shop- EP
Les Halles- EP
WPE- Disney Springs

QS faves include:
AK: Flametree BBQ
HS: Backlot Express
MK: Cosmic Rays for the dining plan but we like Columbia Harbor House
Epcot: Les Hallas

Snacks:
AK: Double Chocolate-Chip Ice Cream Sandwich from Tamu Tamu Refreshments
HS: Cupcakes, at Backlot Express or Starbucks
MK: Dole Whip
Epcot: caramel shop in Germany

Not to hijack the thread too much but how is the seating at Casey's Corner? Is it all outside? Is the piano player always there?

In Epcot I would say any of the world showcase just for something that is different. MK I too say Columbia Harbor House. AK the kids always want Pizzafari (the one time I will go along with a Disney pizza request). If you do leave the park for a midday break I would definitely say WPE in DS.

Our favorite QS restaurants are; Landscape of Flavors, the Mara, Contempo Cafe, Boardwalk Bakery, Wolfgang Puck Express, Starring Rolls, Sunshine Seasons, Tangierine Cafe, Boulangerie Pattiserie, Kringla Bakeri, Be Our Guest, Columbia Harbor House, Pecos Bill's, and Flame Tree BBQ.

Sunshine Seasons, Kringla Bakeri, Les Halles, Yorkshire County Fish Shop, Tangierine Cafe, Boardwalk Bakery, Capt Cook's, Landscape of Flavors

Just wanted to revisit this thread and thank everyone for responding! So many great suggestions
