Best quick dining options on the Boardwalk

We want to have a meal on the Boardwalk prior to heading over for Illuminations. I am able to get a 6:25 ADR at Kouzzina but I don't know how fast they will be able to serve a table of 7. What good quick dining options are on the Boardwalk as an alternative?

It depends on what kind of quick service meal you are looking for. My family really likes the boardwalk pizza window. We usually order a whole pizza for my family of 4 and you can sit at a table near the lake. The Boardwalk bakery has some really good sandwiches and again...you can eat outside, near the lake. If you go across the bridge towards the Beach Club resort you could go to Beaches and Cream for a sit down meal (hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, fries, onion rings and really good sundaes). If you go early enough, then there shouldn't be much of a wait...they don't take reservations.

I agree- the Boardwalk Pizza Window (formerly the Spoodles Pizza Window) is an old favorite of mine- a nice table outside on the boardwalk and easy, inexpensive quick pizza- followed by illuminations- is a favorite Disney memory of mine!

I've stayed at BC / BCV the last 4 visits...

A word to the wise... during EVERY visit... Beaches & Cream has a LONG LINE... ALSO - unless things have changed... they are NOT on the dining plan...

I've had great sandwiches at the Beach Club Marketplace... the pizza window we've tried and the Boardwalk Bakery has a good Quick service meal...

I agree with the long lines at Beaches and Cream because it is a small restaurant. But if you go at 4-4:30 then it should be do-able without much of a wait.

Beaches and Cream is a 1 TS restaurant on the DDP.
Many of the QS options mentioned above at the Boardwalk do not participate in the DDP. The Boardwalk Bakery does, but the pizza window does not.

ESPN Club at the Boardwalk, or The Fountain(similar to Beaches & Cream) at the Dolphin are also quick options. ESPN and Kouzzina are a 5 minute walk to Epcot, while The Fountain would be 10-12 minutes. Friendship boat is an option from the Boardwalk and Dolphin. Quicker to walk.

There are a ton of qs options at Epcot since you are going there anyway.

I agree. My quick meal on the Boardwalk is a stroll to the WS. Everyone grabs what they want (Fish and Chips, tabouli, bratwurst) then we all meet in France for chocolate mousse!

If you want CS, I agree with going to epcot, especially if you are going for illuminations anyway. But my other thought is, the Cape May Clambake. I don't know how quick they are to seat you, but it is a buffet, so you wouldn't have to wait for service after you are seated.

Hi! We just got back from the WORLD and had a nice meal at Kouzzina- be warned, service was anything but fast . While we enjoy the Pizza window and watching the Boardwalk antics while we eat at the outdoor tables, nothing beats the choice and quality of food at WS...
I'm hungry again...

Thanks for the heads up on the speed of service at Kouzzina. Since we are a large party, I would expect it to be on the slow side. I can also get an early ADR for Via Napoli (5:45) and thinking of sticking with that or doing counter service in WS.

I haven't really explored the Boardwalk area which is why we were thinking of dining there. I suppose we would get the feel by slowly walking from DHS to Epcot? How long does that take?

Sometimes we walk from DHS to the Beach Club Resort and it is a long walk...IMO. You can always take a boat over to Boardwalk and then it's a short walk over to Epcot.

Should someone do that they wouldn't need to get of at the Boardwalk and walk to Epcot. When coming from Hollywood Studios the boat order goes Swan/Dolphin, Yacht Club/Beach Club, Boardwalk and Epcot. So you can stay on and choose to take the boat from the Boardwalk to Epcot, instead of getting off the boat and walking over to Epcot.

You're absolutely right...we've done that lots of times but if you read a prior post it was mentioned that the OP wants to walk through the Boardwalk area in order to check it out.

Take a walk to the Dolphin Picabu Buffeteria. Great selection, fresh and fabulous service too. You place your order, pay then they'll bring it over to you. We love that there is something for everyone and they have no problem with making changes. It's worth the walk for a CS location.

As Disney says, the Boardwalk is "a village on the water". One of our favorite things to do (if you have the time) is to take the walk around Crescent Lake and soak up the sights at all 5 hotels!

i would suggest the big river grille (if you can get it for an earlier time) and DDP accepts it
