Can any of you YC experts tell me where the best palce to grab quick bite (ie. grab and go) breakfast at the YC. We usually stay at the Poly and just grab coffee juice and banana bread, fruit or a muffin before jumping on the monorail. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!:)

There is a bar just off the YC lobby that has limited breakfast offerings, but should satisfy the need for coffee/muffin/fruit. That would certainly be the quickest place to go to. The Marketpalce over at the Beach Club has a few more things for breakfast, but is further away. Those are your two best bets, unless you want to go over to the BW or S/D (which aren't far, but are a long way to go just to grab a cup of coffee and a muffin).

I was also going to say the place in the lobby. They make really good cappucinos. If I recall from my stay in 2005, they even took the DDE card. I don't know if this is still the case. I had actually forgotten about that and now remember how much I liked their coffee.

If you venture all the way down to the BC (:rotfl: ) I think they have some basic breakfast goodies in the gift/snack shop.

Cape May is there for a full breakfast, but that doesn't sound like what you're looking for.

How far is Boardwalk Bakery from YC if you're headed to Epcot?
Bagels, Juice, Pastries I assume? Lines? Fresh?:goodvibes

Thx.

The boardwalk is right across the lake from BC/YC. Once you walk out of the BC/YC it's just a matter of walking around the lake, probably about 5 mins or so. You could also wait and take the boat across, but you'll wait longer for the boat than it would take to walk unless it is waiting when you get outside.

If you've never been there before, you'll love BC/YC.

Hey neighbor,
Chris is right, it's literally a short hop. the lines look long but they really are not. Its a single line going in but it moves really, really fast. Get the chocolate cruissant (sp?).
Also what we do some times is the night before hit the bakery in France, they have great pastries all day and night and then have them in the morning. They've always been very fresh.

But there's no need to walk to the BW Bakery. BC Marketplace has great bakery goods as well including chocolate croissants last I noticed.

Captain's Grille at the YC is a great option for a full breakfast. A la carte or buffet...no characters, just good food.

Thanks everyone. Great ideas! 12 days and counting. I am trying to get everything organized before we leave!
